Crysis 3 Disable the Energy Nexus

In Crysis 3, Prophet has been instructed by HQ to disable the energy nexus. Prophet questions why CELL needs to use the dam generator when they have the nexus. A good question, and one which will be answered when Prophet completes the mission to disable to energy nexus. This will guide Prophet on how to penetrate the CELL system X-harvesting facility and shut it down.

Crysis 3 Penetrate the Energy Nexus Facility

Before going into the energy nexus facility, Prophet must lower the outer defenses by destroying the dam. After Prophet is washed into the waterways by the exploding dam, he will be able to pick his way to the entrance of the facility relatively unhindered by CELL guards. Prophet can take his time to finish a secondary objective here and get a nanosuit upgrade module. After this, follow the waterways and find a way into the energy nexus facility.

The way into the energy nexus facility will be tough, as there will be lots of guards at the entrance of the facility and beyond. It’s a good thing that the hero already has a sniper rifle here and can use it to attack the guards from long range.

Once the entrance guards are eliminated, head inside and position oneself on the top of the stairs. Guards will swarm into the compound in both directions, so make sure the hero clears both wings and do not get flanked. Finish off the guards and then find a way into the energy nexus facility itself.

Crysis 3 Restore the Pneumatic Pressure to Regulation Assembly

Within the energy nexus facility, Prophet will need to bring the nexus system to a safe power level and shut it down. To do this, Prophet must first restore the pneumatic pressure to regulation assembly. First follow the objective marker and get to the control panel. Activate this and then activate the crane operator to move a box to form a bridge or jumping platform between some pipes and another platform. Climb onto the pipes and then move onto the box. Jump to the next platform and activate the control to restore the pneumatic pressure to regulation assembly.

When this is done, a turret will swing down and the guns will start firing at Prophet. Switch to the Predator Bow and then use super-thermite arrows to take it down.

Go to the final objective marker, up the lift and into the nexus room itself. Activate the controls and destroy the nexus room. It explodes, releasing the alpha ceph.

Next up, turning off the dopamine inhibitors in Prophet's brain.
