Crysis 3 Get to the North Railyard

Updated on March 3, 2013

Crysis 3 Chapter 2 Welcome to the Jungle

In Crysis 3 Chapter 2 Welcome to the Jungle, the hero Prophet must first disable the tower weapons. He must search for a weapon in Sector 1 Delta 5. Then he must rendezvous with Psycho. Next, he must find a way past Cell mercenaries and Ceph stalkers and meet up with Psycho again. Finally, Psycho and Prophet will take a train ride home to HQ. This will guide Prophet on how to achieve these primary objectives.

Crysis 3 Search for A Weapon

Chapter 2 opens with Prophet being introduced to the jungle that is now New York City. CELL has taken over and turned the city into one big prison, guarded by watch towers and their mercenaries. The first job for Prophet is to search for a weapon in Sector 1 Delta 5. To survive this and achieve the primary objective, Prophet must use a combination of cloak and armor. When running, use armor and dash to the points designated by Psycho.

Finally, Prophet will find the weapon – a ceph bolt sniper. Use it against the tower weapons and destroy them.

Next, Prophet can fulfill the secondary objective here and find an upgrade for this nanosuit. Now meet up with Psycho and then watch as he departs again.

Crysis 3 Defeat the CELL Mercenaries and the Ceph Stalkers

The next stage sees Prophet trying to reach Psycho. There will be CELL mercenaries and then ceph stalkers as Prophet attempts to rendezvous with Psycho. The mercenaries can be put down with the predator bow, but it may be better to equip Prophet with a semi automatic weapon for the stalkers scenario. Remember to use armor to protect Prophet when the stalkers spring up to attack from nowhere.

The first turret gun is located at the far end, the second one on the left of Prophet here, and the zipline behind Prophet on the corridor.

Crysis 3 Reach the North Railyard

Prophet will then get a respite as he moves up along some corridor and stairs and reaches a vast interior area consisting of two sections. Reload on grenades and ammunition and then attempt to reach the north railyard.

Prophet can try to defeat all the enemies in this area through brute force or stealth. Or he can head towards the objectives and take out enemies as necessary when they appear along his path. The key for Prophet here is to reach a zipline and use it to reach Psycho.

From the start point, use cloak and then stealth take down on the nearest CELL guard. Then armor up and jump down into the waters below. Run to the right and move very fast forwards, aiming for a flight of stairs that will take the hero into a room where he will spot the first turret. Hack the turret to make it his own, and use it against the cell mercenaries. Now come out from behind this first turret and take down the cell mercenary on the right. Go left and along the platform in crotch mode (and stealth mode if energy is available). Take out another cell guard at the end of the platform and spot the zipline. Use it to reach Psycho.

Once Prophet reaches the other side, there will be a secondary objective where he can hunt more stalkers in the long overgrown grass and attempt to rectify the error to his nanosuit. Then meet up with Psycho to reach the north railyard and use the train to open up a way to HQ.
