Updated on May 25, 2012

Diablo 3 Betrayer of the Horadrim Zoltun Kulle

In Diablo 3, the betrayer of the Horadrim was Zoltun Kulle. Zoltun Kulle forged the black soulstone to trap the souls of demons ....... and angels alike. Branded as a Horadrim heretic, he was hunted and his body and essence separated and dispersed in the Borderlands. Now Leah and the hero must attempt to piece together the various "parts" of the betrayer of the Horadrim Zoltun Kulle in order to find the black soulstone. The first part that the hero must find is Zoltun Kulle's head. This will provide a synopsis of the hero's journey to find Zoltun Kulle's head within the forgotten ruins in Dahlgur Oasis, starting with the kidnapping and rescue of Leah in the Royal Audience quest.

Diablo 3 Royal Audience Quest

Whilst the hero was busy finding and defeating the witch, the forces of Belial were busy attacking and kidnapping Leah. To rescue Leah, first seek a royal audience with Emperor Hakan 2. Speak to Asheara at the Gates of Caldeum and then head inside the imperial palace. Talk to the "emperor" and face his wrath. His royal guards turn into countless waves of Writhing Deceivers which will rapidly surround and decimate the hero. Activate diamond skin and wave of force to repel the writhing deceivers and scaled magus and run out from the center of the surrounding monsters. Launch into wizard attack mode and retaliate, destroying the countless viper like snakemen. Rescue Leah and enter the Caldeum sewers in an attempt to escape the imperial palace. Leah will inform the hero that she has news that her mother Adria may be alive in the wretched pits. Defeat the monsters that stand in the hero's way in the sewers, and rescue Adria. Then return to the hidden camp in Caldeum to regroup and speak to Adria.

Diablo 3 Find Zoltun Kulle's Head in the Forgotten Ruins within Dahlgur Oasis

Whilst Adria is busy teaching her daugther Leah the mystical art of spiritism, the hero should enter the Flooded Causeway to find the Dahlgur Oasis. Once the hero finds the Dahlgur Oasis, he will also find the Path to the Oasis waypoint. Use the waypoint to return to the hidden camp to regroup temporarily. At this point, Leah would have learnt the art of summoning the spirit of Zoltun Kulle. The spirit of Zoltun Kulle makes a deal with the hero and the ex-angel Tyrael - make him whole and human again in exchange for the secrets of the Black Soulstone - the artifact that will trap the final two Prime Evils Belial and Azmodan. Desperate times call for desperate action. Tyrael and the hero agree. And it's time to find Zoltun Kulle's head in the fogotten ruins within the Dahlgur Oasis.
