Dungeon Siege 3 Crypts of the Sacred Blood Quest

In Dungeon Siege 3, Stonebridge is an ally that the Legion wants on their side. In order for this to happen, the hero must journey into the crypts of the sacred blood and hunt down the master thief Ehregott.

The crypts of the sacred blood is filled with traps and levers and interspersed with enemies - bomb throwing enemies and fast moving thieves. Dodge them and move into position to launch empowered auras of immolation into their paths. For the more powerful enemies, ie the automatons, use your companions to stun or slow them and fire off pillars of fire at them. If there are too many enemies, use fire jackal to cause lingering fire damage on the enemies. The path to the first of two bosses is relatively easy.

Dungeon Siege 3 Defeating the Mortified Automaton

In Dungeon Siege 3, the first boss to be encountered is the formidable mortified automaton. This armored monstrosity is a nightmare to defeat, particularly at hardcore level. To defeat this monstrosity, one must know the pattern of attack - it will spray out three electricity lighting attacks that will converge at one point. Dodge this, and then watch out for the homing electricity attack that will follow the hero and cripple them. The way to fight this is to dodge those above attacks, and then use distraction techniques for the automation, so that his back faces you, and then use fire attacks and pillars of fire against the automaton. Once the automaton is dead, move on to hunt down the master thief Ehregott.

Dungeon Siege 3 Defeating the Master Thief Ehregott

Move on to the lower levels of the crypts of sacred blood, and engage the master thief. The exits will be sealed off, and it's Ehregott vs the hero and companion. To defeat the master thief Ehregott in Dungeon Siege 3 is easier than the mortified automaton. Use dodge to fan off his ranged attacks and then fire off pillars of fire to rapidly decimate his hit points. The master thief Ehregott can also dodge, so be careful as he can escape from the pillars of fire. Use empowered auras of immolation to set traps for him. It's only a matter of time before the master thief Ehregott will be defeated. Report back to the meister in the meisterhall. If all three quests of the meisters have been set off, then the Automaton Rebellion will be launched in Stonebridge.
