Get Jump Start and Reader Rabbit. They do work nicely. Jump Start is more fun and the child will not even know that it is learning but they will learn anyways. We have used the Jump Start and Reader Rabbit and they both have fun games on it that can help the child learn to read without the child realizing that they are learning. I should say without the child thinking that it is school work and thinking more like it is a game. Another game to try is get the child on to study Island so that they can start doing the games that way. You might find that works. I prefer Jump Start and Reader Rabbit just because they are more age appropriate and the fact that they are chartoons so that the children can relate more to what is going on.
