    Hello Maryre,

I purchased a teacup marked: Germany 19 o. What does that mean and how unique is it?

It's halfway gold lined on the interior and looks to be hand painted with gold painted on the exterior. There's also fine details of a gold flower with leaves on each side. The upper part is painted in green with the bottom painted mint green and stands on 4 feet.

All I know for sure is that it was made in Germany according to the stamp you say it has on the bottom. Without a picture of the cup, I can't tell you much more than that. It sounds very pretty! The gold detailing is most likely a thin coat of 22ktt gold. I haven't seen a teacup with feet, but when I sold collectibles on the internet, I did tons of research, and there are many places that have a lot of info, if you just keep digging. Keep doing searches with keywords that apply to your cup and see if you can find something similar. Posting a photo of several different views of it will help others identify it for you.
