Is virtual interaction just as meaningful and exciting as physically talking to someone?
With the social networks connecting all of us via messages have we chosen it over real contact or is it still second best?
good answer, I think virtual interaction has so many benefits as you said, it's faster and easier but real interaction is still the only 'Real' interaction and cannot be replaced fully.
second best by a long shot. i hope we never get to the point where we want virtual over reality, if we do we are in trouble.
I guess that makes me the odd man out, or just plain odd. I like virtual interaction with people, not just in games but in general. I never have to send them home when I want to be alone, just turn off the PC and I'm all set, but if I need someone to talk to there is most always someone there. Some of the most real people I have ever met I have only communicated with virtually.
