    I played a lot of monopoly as a kid but I wasn't born in the 60s/70s though

    how about stratego? there was also one about being an oil tycoon i forget the name of it.

    Hmm, 60s and 70s? Not sure if these are from that era but we played a lot of Monopoly (which I found boring after a while), Risk (fun!), Go to the head of the class (early kids version of Trivia Pursuit).

    But mostly we played card games, penny ante poker, Crazy 8s, Rummy, Canasta and so on. My family never went on a long or short trip without a deck of cards.

    Kerplunk, Cooties, Ants in the pants, Chinese checkers, Parchesi, Sorry, Trouble, Miles Borne,Tip it, Don't spill the beans, Easy money, Life,Payday, Monopoly, Rebound.
