    How do I go about changing the EMS in Mass Effect 3 without playing online so Shepherd lives?

    Do I need to go into the  game file and change something with a hex editor for the EMS to be over 5000? Thanks for any help as I do not play online.

    Hi w777chey, I have updated my Mass Effect 3 hub. I cannot repost the entire section here, so I will just post the introduction of the section:
    How to Increase EMS with Save Game Editor
    This section of the hub will help those players who can not raise their EMS above 5000 (because they cannot play multi-player, are too far into the game and do not want to restart, are lazy, etc). The entire process will take only about two minutes. Remember to back up your save just in case you mess up (better safe then sorry). As a side note, you must have a program that can open zip files (such as winrar or 7zip).
