If you have a gaming blog, what do you like to write about most in your Hubs?
By which I mean reviews, opinions, design ideas, etc.
All depends really. I had a small blog through IGN and used to write about things that were in the general gaming news (DLC, new game releases, rumours) as well as a few reviews and general opinions.
Did a few articles relating to the DLC debate, music in games and general opinions on certain game franchises.
I most liked to write about personal experiences with games and how they affected me. Anyone can tell you what the game is and what features it has but it's all about the experience and what you get from it I feel:-)
That's exactly what I was thinking when I went into it. I have themes for every day and I recently added and changed some. I love IGN. I went to them and Game Informer for announcements and reviews.
I actually just started a gaming blog today. My wife has had one for a while and I decided to give it a try. Since I'm not really one for putting my day to day life on the net, I decided to do gaming.
Right now I'm still working on getting the appearance right, but i did publish a review here on hubpages for the new simcity and put the link on my site.
I have the feeling I'll stick with reviews of games and DLC, gameguides, and maybe do a little research on being an indie game developer (2D) and post a few of my own games on there. Guess only time will tell where it goes.
I would love to develop games on my own, but I'm too busy in school right now. Maybe there'll be a class for it in time!
I always thought that appearance is everything in a blog or site. I'm trying to make a background right now for my account here.

I recently read some reviews on Consumer Affairs, which were absolutely devasting and have got me a little worried. I was wondering if anyone else wrote at similar sites prior to HubPages and why they made the switch, and if they had thought about going back.

Just wondering as I might consider it if anyone enjoys that kind of thing. I know quite a lot about gaming, so I could without fail produce 1 hub per day!

I know plenty of people make a decent income from hubpages, and i'm happy for them. For me, I dont think that will come until for one, I change my content, and two, put in a lot more work.I write about things I personally know and love, and experiences i've had. Although, it seems like hubs about...

Is it better to concentrate your hubs on one general topic, or to diversify?
