Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Trivia Game Review
Join Harry Potter In A Game of Quidditch Featuring The Chamber of Secrets Trivia
Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets Trivia Game is a great game for Harry Potter enthusiasts. If you love Harry Potter, you are going to love this game where you move the pieces according to the rules of Quidditch and then you have the opportunity to answer trivia questions from the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets book in order to capture the Golden Snitch. As in the 'real' game of Quidditch played in the J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books, the game can be over very quickly or it can go on for a longer period of time. On this page you will find my review of this fantastic Quidditch game.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Trivia Game Board and Pieces
Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets Trivia Game Features & Review
Featuring questions from the second Harry Potter film.
The Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets Trivia Game is a beautiful, high-quality game. It comes attractively and sturdily packaged in a colorful box with game board; 230 question cards; two complete Quidditch teams including seekers, players, bludgers, Quaffle and the Golden Snitch; an eight-sided die; and, two score keepers.
The object of the game is to win the Quidditch match by answering the trivia questions from the second Harry Potter film, The Chamber of Secrets, and by maneuvering your playing pieces in such a way as to capture the Golden Snitch.
The game is played in two teams representing Gryffindor and Slytherin House. As in any Quidditch match, the end of the game can be fast or slow. Our first two games were played out with lightning speed; the third took considerably longer. My husband actually liked the fact that the game was unpredictable. My son, however, felt that catching the Snitch happened too quickly. He would have liked it to be more difficult.
As many of the reviews I read stated, the game is somewhat complex in its Quidditch rules. (However, as a fan of Harry Potter your knowledge of Quidditch may help with these rules.) It seems like people who perservered with learning them won. They could enjoy the game and the trivia. Others who did not have the patience for finding their way through the rules, struggled and gave up sometimes just focusing on the trivia part of the game. In our family, this went exactly as could be predicted with my 16-year old Harry Potter loving son immediately and without any difficulty seeming to pick up the rules. My husband was pretty close behind him. I had to work a little more to understand the rules, especially because my son and my husband were making all the moves on the board and I learn by doing.
Who is this game for? Definitely, it is for Harry Potter fans and it is NOT suitable for people who are not familiar with Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets. The box recommends it for individuals who are eight-years old and up and I would definitely go along with that recommendation.
The Official Game Description
"This clever and challenging question and answer contest pits the Slytherin house against the Gryffindor house in a game of Quidditch, where you score by answering trivia about Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Players roll the die to move on the field and then answer a question corresponding to their player's position. The questions vary in difficulty through five levels (Quaffles being the easiest, Golden Snitches the hardest), but each correct answer gains the player or team points. Answer a Golden Snitch question right and you gain 150 points and end the game -- just like in a real Quidditch match - but the team with the most points is still the winner. It's a fun game with nice features, but it's definitely geared toward hardcore Harry fans."
