Heroes - Legend of the Battle Disks

Updated on September 12, 2011

Heroes Battle Disks - New in the UK for Autumn 2011

Welcome to our information page on the forthcoming Heroes: Legend of the Battle Disks. Released in August 2011, Heroes Battle Disks are a brand new creation from the makers of Gogos Crazy Bones. That means we're pretty sure they're going to be a massive playground hit. On this page, you'll find all the latest news on Heroes: Legend of the Battle Disks including collectors guides, video, background and much more besides. Don't forget to vote for your favourite creature type in our poll, and give us your thoughts on the new collection on our guestbook at the bottom of the page.

Heroes: Legend of the Battle Disks is set in the mystical land of Aernia, where the energy of a long dead Red Dragon has become contained in the mysterious Battle Disks. Collectors take the role of one of the Heroes of Aernia, shooting their Battle Disks at their opponents in a bid to gain supremacy. Each pack contains a figure, a battle disk and a shooter (plus other goodies - more details below) - we can't wait to see them - they look superb. Read on for more info...

Heroes: Legend of the Battle Disks launched in the UK in August 2011

Heroes: Legend of the Battle Disks Background

The four main characters in Heroes: Legend of the Battle Disks are Yungel, Vulkay, Zan and Gael - each of them a budding Battle Disks master from one of the main locations in Aernia, but there's a whole heap of supporting characters too. The backstory behind the game, with its clear Anime inspiration, looks fascinating to us - there's already a web comic to read and we wouldn't be surprised to learn that a cartoon is in the pipeline.

The collectible Battle Disks bring the mythical world of Aernia into real life, allowing players to recreate the action.
