Janice: Muppet Member of Electric Mayhem

As lead guitarist for The Electric Mayhem, the Muppet Show house band, Janice was one of the only female muppets to interact regularly with the big shots of the show. Miss Piggy usually hogged the leading lady roles, but Janice is not a jealous woman. Janice was in a devoted relationship with Floyd Pepper, who played the bass, and though she often came off as the "ditsy blonde this was not the case. Janice was smart and witty. She was sexy without trying to be - girly but fit right in with the guys. And, her laid back attitude is priceless.

On their own or with backup, Electric Mayhem is an amazing ensemble.

Janice did not merely do lead guitar and vocals for Electric Mayhem. She also was an actress on the Muppet Show and in the movies.

She had a recurring role on as Nurse Janice on "Veterinarian's Hospital", working alongside Nurse Piggy and Dr. Bob.

Janice had many memorable quotes. It was a running gag that the muppets would stop talking all at the same time except Janice. She would finish her sentence, not realizing that everyone's attention was on her...

"Look buddy, I don't take my clothes off for anyone, I don't care if it IS 'artistic'..." (The Muppets Take Manhattan)

Pure Love

There is no couple more perfect for each other then Floyd and Janice. These two do not put on the same arguing couple antics as Kermit and Miss Piggy or Gonzo and Camilla. They are merely two content individuals, who love one another unconditionally.
