Just Dance 4 Provides Hours of Healthy Entertainment

I love to dance; however, I don't like to dance in front of other people. I'm naturally awkward, so dancing can become a bit of a contact sport for me. My madly, geeky dance skills also tend to attract the attention of everyone around me. For this reason, I choose to do all my dancing in my living room. Sure, my daughter, my husband, and my OCD dog are there, but they don't judge...they know better. I have several Kinect games, but my absolute favorite game for the Kinect is Just Dance 4.

Just Dance 4 Lets me "Move Like Jagger"

The Just Dance franchise is available on many platforms and has many different versions. The Just Dance 4 version for the Xbox 360 came out in October 2012, and I purchased the game shortly after for my daughter for Christmas. We have Just Dance 3 for the Xbox and Just Dance Kids for the Wii. I opted to buy Just Dance 4 for the Xbox 360 because I LOVE the Kinect. As I mentioned above, I'm naturally awkward, which has led to several rather unexpected events with my Wii controller. With the Kinect, you don't have to use a controller. With no controller to hang onto and excellent jams coming from the game, I can put my geekiness aside for a moment and "Move like Jagger."

Great Movements and the Opportunity to Join a Dance Crew

In real life, no one would ever ask me to join their dance team. I was only about nine years old when I realized I was probably never going to be a Fly Girl on In Living Color. When I play Just Dance 4 with my daughter...she has no choice, but to team up with her dancing challenged mother. I get to listen to tons of new songs from a variety of different genres and artists, including Stevie Wonder, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, and many others. I also get to live my lifelong dream of being a Fly Girl, even if it is only in my living room.

So...no matter what type of dancer you are, you can pop this popular Xbox video game in the console, and dance like no one is watching.

More Just Dance Titles to Consider

Just Dance 4 was my first purchase from the series, but it isn't the only one. There are many versions of this Xbox 360 game to choose from, including:

  • Just Dance 2016 (October 2015)
  • Just Dance 2016 - Gold Edition (October 2015)
  • Just Dance 2015 (October 2014)
  • Just Dance 2014 (October 2013)
  • Just Dance (November 2009)
  • Just Dance Disney Party (October 2012)
  • Just Dance Disney Party 2 (October 2015)
