It can be so hard to find the perfect place and the perfect Level 5 and higher monsters for your Deck, but I want to help out and make that experience easier for yourself.
Gandora The Dragon of Destruction
Gandora The Dragon of Destruction is a Level 8 DARK Dragon-Type monster with 0 ATK and 0 DEF that cannot be Special Summoned and is destroyed during the End Phase. Well, why is this card good? Well, with Gandora The Dragon of Destruction, you can banish every card on the field except for this card. Then. Gandora The Dragon of Destruction gains 300 ATK times the number of cards banished by this effect. With a wide open field, you can have Gandora The Dragon of Destruction attack your opponent's life points directly right away! Unless your opponent has a Kuriboh in his/her hand, Gandora The Dragon of Destruction will do some devastating damage.
Ultimate Tyranno
Ultimate Tyranno is a Level 8 EARTH Dinosaur-Type monster with 3000 ATK and 2200 DEF that can and must attack all of your opponent's monsters once each. Ultimate Tyranno is a strong card that can wipe out your opponent's side of the field. Final Attack Orders combined with Ojama Trio can inflict more than 9000 points of damage to your opponent.
Stardust Dragon
Stardust Dragon is a Level 8 Synchro Monster with 2500 ATK and 2000 DEF that has a unique effect. When a card on the field tries to destroy other card(s) on the field, you can negate the effect of that card and destroy it by Tributing Stardust Dragon. Then, during your End Phase, Stardust Dragon comes back to your side of the field. Stardust Dragon can save all of your monsters from a Dark Hole, and Stardust Dragon can also be used to summon stronger monsters such as Shooting Star Dragon, Majestic Star Dragon, Stardust Dragon-Assault Mode, and so on. Stardust Dragon is the most popular Synchro Monsters in the game, and it is one of the best Synchro Monsters as well.
Jinzo
Jinzo is a Level 6 monster with 2400 ATK and 1500 DEF that negates every Trap Card on the field. Trap Cards cannot be activated at all while Jinzo remains on the field, so your opponent won't be able to protect himself/herself from Jinzo's wrath. However, Jinzo also prevents its controller from playing Trap Cards. There are two ways to counter this. The first method is using Quick Play Spell Cards which can be used at the heat of a battle. The second method is by using the Equip Spell Card, Amplifier on Jinzo. Amplifier is an Equip Spell Card that allows you to use Trap Cards even when you control Jinzo. Once Amplifier is destroyed, then Jinzo is destroyed as well, so make sure you have a card that will prevent Amplifier from being destroyed.
Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End
Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End is one of the most feared monsters in the game because of its awesome effect. Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End has 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF, and it can only be summoned by a Special Summon by banishing 1 LIGHT monster and 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard. Once you have Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End on your side of the field, you can either use its 3000 ATK for good purposes, or you can use its effect to demolish your opponent. By paying 1000 life points, Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End allows you to send every card on the field and in both players' hands to the Graveyard including this card. Then, both players must count how many cards were destroyed by this effect. Your opponent loses 300 life points times the number of cards destroyed by this effect.
Tyrant Dragon
Tyrant Dragon is a Level 8 Dragon-Type monster with 2900 ATK and 2500 DEF that has an awesome effect. First of all, Tyrant Dragon is immune to Trap Cards. Even the nastiest Trap Cards like Mirror Force will have no effect on Tyrant Dragon. Then, during the Battle Phase, if this card attacks, and then there are some monsters on your opponent's side of the field, Tyrant Dragon can attack again. Tyrant Dragon has an incredible effect, but to harness all of this power, there must be a price. Tyrant Dragon can only be Special Summoned from your Graveyard by Tributing 1 Dragon-Type monster. When you Special Summon a monster, you're supposed to get an extra monster, but you have to Tribute 1 of your own monsters to even think about Special Summoning Tyrant Dragon.
Beast King Barbaros
Imagine a monster that you could summon with no Tributes, 2 Tributes, or 3 Tributes. Beast King Barbaros is that kind of monster, and it has 3000 ATK and 1200 DEF. If you want to Normal Summon Beast King Barbaros without Tributing, then its ATK becomes 1900. Beast King Barbaros is still a Level 8 monster when Normal Summoned like this, so XYZ Summoning for a Rank 8 XYZ Monster couldn't be easier. Then, you can Tribute 2 monsters, and nothing happens. Beast King Barbaros is just your typical 3000 ATK and 1900 DEF Yugioh Monster. However, when you Tribute 3 monsters to play Beast King Barbaros, you can destroy ALL cards on your opponent's side of the field without question. Then, Beast King Barbaros can attack directly, and your opponent would lose 3000 life points.
Malefic Cyber End Dragon
Out of all of the non Synchro Malefic monsters featured in the movie booster pack, Malefic Cyber End Dragon is the strongest one with 4000 ATK and 2800 DEF. Imagine getting a monster on your side of the field with 4000 ATK in 1 turn! That is possible with Malefic Cyber End Dragon because all you need to do is have a Field Spell Card on the field, and then you have to banish 1 Cyber End Dragon from your Extra Deck. that's all you have to do to play this card, and with 4000 ATK, all of your opponent's monsters will be getting destroyed. However, you can only control 1 Malefic monster which isn't so bad, but you cannot declare an attack with any of your other monsters. Do you need Malefic Cyber End Dragon? The choice is yours.
Red Nova Dragon
Red Nova Dragon is a Level 12 Synchro Monster with 3500 ATK and 3000 DEF that requires Red Dragon Archfiend and 2 Tuners as the Synchro Materials. These tuners must add up to a level of 4, so Red Nova Dragon is exceptionally hard to play, but the rewards are high. Red Nova Dragon gains 500 ATK for each tuner in your Graveyard, so 90% of the time, Red Nova Dragon will start out with 4500 ATK. Also, Red Nova Dragon cannot be destroyed by card effects. Red Nova Dragon can be targeted by cards like Change of Heart, but since Red Nova Dragon cannot be destroyed by card effects, Red Nova Dragon is a bigger threat to your opponent. When an opponent's monster declares an attack, you can banish this card to negate the attack. If Red Nova Dragon is banished by this effect, then it returns to your side of the field during the End Phase.
Yubel
Back in the GX days, Yubel was considered the best card in the game. With 0 ATK and 0 DEF, Yubel could not be destroyed by battle, and when Yubel was destroyed, you could Special Summon a Yubel-Terror Incarnate. Your opponent loses ATK equal to the ATK of all of their monsters that battle with Yubel. However, you must Tribute 1 monster on your side of the field once per turn or else Yubel will be destroyed. Yubel was one of the best cards in the GX days, but once Monster Cards were equipped with new effects to deal with cards like Yubel, Yubel wasn't as strong, but this card can still provide good uses to any Deck.
Ancient Gear Golem
Ancient Gear Golem is a Level 8 monster with 3000 ATK and 3000 DEF that cannot be Special Summoned. That is a small price to pay for an incredible effect. First of all, Ancient Gear Golem inflicts piercing damage to your opponent. When Ancient Gear Golem declares an attack, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. This guarantees that Ancient Gear Golem's attack will get through, and with 3000 ATK, most of your opponent's monsters won't stand a chance!
Valkyrion The Magna Warrior
Valkyrion The Magna Warrior is the strongest Level 8 monster with 3500 ATK and 3850 DEF. Valkyrion The Magna Warrior cannot be Normal Summoned or Set, and it can only be Special Summoned by Tributing all 3 magnet warriors (Alpha, Beta, Gamma) from your hand or your side of the field. At the same time, you can Tribute Valkyrion The Magna Warrior to Special Summon the magnet warriors from your Graveyard. Whenever you need more monsters to Tribute, more defense, or a better offense, Valkyrion The Magna Warrior gives you that special offer to bring back the magnet warriors.
Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon
Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon is a Level 8 monster with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF that can be Special Summoned from your hand by Tributing 2 monsters with 2000 ATK. Once per turn, when this card is attacked or attacks, you can banish this card and the monster that it is battling. Then, during the end of the Battle Phase, the monsters banished by this effect are returned to the field. If the monster banished by this card is an XYZ Monster, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon gains 500 ATK for each XYZ Material attached to the XYZ Monster.
The Tricky
The Tricky is a Level 5 monster with 2000 ATK and 1200 DEF that can be Special Summoned from your hand by discarding 1 card from your hand. The Tricky can allow you to easily XYZ Summon Rank 5 monsters, and The Tricky also helps out with Synchro Monsters. The Tricky also has 2000 ATK, and it this is one of the quickest way to get a monster on the field with 2000 ATK.
Photon Caesar
Photon Caesar is a Level 8 monster with 2000 ATK and 2800 DEF that helps out a lot with XYZ Summoning. When Photon Caesar is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Photon Caesar from your hand or Deck. That means you get 2 Level 8 monsters each with 2000 ATK and 2800 DEF. That can mean a lot of ATK power against your opponent, but it can also mean XYZ Summoning a Rank 8 XYZ Monster more easily.
