Madame Alexander Wizard of Oz Dolls

Updated on November 30, 2014

Madame Alexander Dolls

Madame Alexander is a doll company that makes popular collectible dolls. For over 80 years Madame Alexander has been creating the most beautifully crafted dolls for children and doll collectors everywhere.

Many of the dolls are characters from movies like Gone with the Wind or they are popular Disney Characters such as Alice in Wonderland. Although most of these dolls are for collectors and not recommended for children under 5, Madam Alexander also makes classic baby dolls for younger children.

These are incredible Wizard of Oz dolls Wendy. I am a real fan of early movies, however the Wizard of Oz has always been one that kinda freaks me out; it's the whole flying monkey thing. But these Madame Alexander dolls are absolutely the cutest things! And seeing no monkey dolls (whether they offer them or not) is just a bonus for me! Cool hub.

I used to collect dolls in different national costumes when I was a child. The girls in my school became quite competitive, all trying to collect dolls from the most countries. It was a fun hobby. Our dolls weren't as high quality as Madame Alexander dolls, though. Thanks for the information.
