Mass Effect 3 Earth in Ruins Trailer

The Mass Effect 3 Earth under attack and in ruins trailer is finally here. After weeks of hide and seek with fans, the mass effect 3 trailer has been shown in completion, rather than being embedded in lots of other video game trailers. In this screenshot, Commander Shepard, wearing his now famous N7 armor, walks away from the screen showing the Earth under attack. Is Shepard turning his back on Planet Earth? Only time will tell, as more mass effect 3 trailer will no doubt hit the internet in coming days. Meanwhile, Earth's assailants are pretty obvious. If it is not obvious, then another mass effect 3 screenshot will confirm the inevitable.

If it is not obvious what the large monsters are in the picture, then it is quite obvious one is not a fan of mass effect. In mass effect 3, the reapers launch a devastating attack on Planet Earth. At the end of mass effect 2 final mission, Shepard leads his team into the collector base at the fringes of dark space to find the purpose of the collector base. The collectors have been collecting humans to build a human reaper. No doubt this is the large scale version of the reapers plan - to collect human beings to produce human reapers.

The narration in the cut-scene is done by a nameless man. Perhaps one is playing as the nameless man in mass effect 3? It would probably make no sense to play Shepard, given he has already been leveled up the maximum in most hardcore mass effect fans' Xbox 360 or PC, especially with all the mass effect downloadable contents available. Fans who own the playstation have a chance of about 10 to 11 months to level up their Shepard to the maximum as mass effect 2 will hit the playstation.

Mass Effect 3 tie in with Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2

With the mass effect 3 Earth in ruins trailer, it is now slightly clearer how the mass effect and mass effect 2 decisions will impact on mass effect 3 outcomes. The Queen Rachni may or may not come to help Earth, depending on whether your Commander Shepard helped the queen rachni or slaughtered the giant insect. The council may or may not send alliance ships to help Earth, depending on whether they are actually still alive in your mass effect universe. The collector base may or may not have been used to research on the collectors and the reapers, depending on whether your Commander Shepard handed the base over to Ceberus or destroyed the collector base. Maybe it's time to play mass effect and mass effect 2 again. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer, courtesy of VGA Games Awards 2010. No question in fans' minds which is the PC and XBox 360 game of the year 2010.
