How Noby Noby Boy is Played - A short synopsis of what the bizarre but addicting mission is all about.
In Noby Noby Boy, the player controls a worm-like quadrupedal character referred to as BOY. On the PS3 controller, the left analog stick moves the front of BOY while the right stick controls its back. By moving both ends in opposite directions, the player can stretch BOY's abdomen to great lengths. The player may then maneuver Boy around its environment to interact with stationary objects like houses or AI-controlled characters such as barnyard animals.
The player accumulates points by how much they stretch during gameplay. These points can be submitted online via a character called SUN to another character called GIRL. Points submitted online by players to GIRL will be added cumulatively, causing Girl to stretch and unlock new levels.
Starting from Earth, Girl has now stretched to the Moon, Mars, and Jupiter and will proceed to several other planets, each unlocking new playable environments for BOY to stretch in.
Note: The Noby Noby Boy team initially expected players to take between one to two weeks of cumulative play time to reach the Moon but it was reached on February 23, 2009, just four days after release. Mars was reached on May 23, 2009 and Jupiter was reached on November 20, 2009.

Keita Takahashi, creator of Katamari Damacy is back with an even more weird and wonderful game. You play as BOY, a worm like creature who eats and stretches for GIRL, a larger female world creature who stretches around the galaxy. The more BOY stretches, the more GIRL can and wrap herself around other planets. This process in whole is a community metagame where every single BOYs (Players) stretch count is added to GIRL. The more people play, the more planets GIRL can get to, and the more places GIRL can get to, the more weird levels BOY can play around in. Overall, NOBY NOBY BOY is a very weird, but oddly charming game, and worth the $5. Experience the weirdness yourself. (Amazon customer Hyperfludd)
