Puzzibits

Updated on March 21, 2012

Puzzibits by Manhattan Toy Company

Puzzibits are a great invention from Manhattan Toy Company - a 3D puzzle where construction toy meets jigsaw meets arts and crafts toy. A firm favourite in our store, each Puzzibits kit is packed with Puzzibits pieces, as well as detailed patterns for several different creations. On this page, you'll find loads of information on Puzzibits including piles of inspiration, buying guides, patterns and much, much more. Don't forget to vote for your favourite kit and say 'hello' on our guestbook while you're here too.

If you've never heard of Puzzibits, take a look at the picture of the Captain's Crew Puzzibits set which shows the three designs that there's instructions for in the box - a two-dimensional parrot and skull and crossbones and a three dimensional sword. However that's not all. Once you've learned the basics of Puzzibits, you'll find you can use your imagination and your box of Puzzibits to create a vast array of designs. There's also a website stacked with ideas for Puzzibits creations if the creative juices aren't flowing.

@Lynne-Modranski: I think the end is nigh for Puzzibits - I love them and they'll be missed - but they'll be around for a while yet - there's plenty retailers (us included) with plenty in stock.

Love these!!! But do you know if they are still being made? Looks like Manhattan Toys don't have them on their site anymore and the main Puzzibits site is now gone. I'll be sad if they've quit making them!

@cuteordeath: My girls often make tiaras and the like from them and wear them around the house - in answer to your question, it depends how you make your design - if you have multiple rows connected together then they would be solid enough to be worn out and about. Single rows of Puzzibits would fall to bits though.

These look really cool! Do they actually stay together after construction? I would want to wear them as jewelry. >_>

ok, these look awesome, I think my little girl is a bit young, but if they're still around in 2 years, I'm definitely getting some of these (for her I mean, of course!)

@indigoj: They sure can - we have a 'Try Me' box of them in the store here, and parents regularly have difficulty extracting their kids from it :)
