Red Dragon Archfiend

Red Dragon Archfiend is a Synchro Monster that went along with Stardust Dragon and is the main rival of Stardust Dragon during the beginning. Red Dragon Archfiend is all about brute force that is bound to destroy everything in its path. Red Dragon Archfiend was and is still a very popular card since it is one of the 5 Signer Dragons based on the show. Red Dragon Archfiend has an effect that no other monster has. When Red Dragon Archfiend attacks a face-up Defense Position monster, all Defense Position monsters on your opponent's side of the field are destroyed. Any monster other than Red Dragon Archfiend that does not declare an attack is destroyed during the End Phase.

Red Dragon Archfiend is a Level 8 DARK Dragon-Type monster with 3000 ATK and 2000 DEF that requires 1 tuner monster and 1 or more non-tuner monsters in order to be Synchro Summoned.

Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode is a Level 10 DARK Dragon-Type monster with 3500 ATK and 2500 DEF that will blow your opponent away! When Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode attacks, all other monsters are destroyed at the end of damage calculation. When Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 Red Dragon Archfiend from the Graveyard. You will need Assault Mode Active in order to play Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode, but this card is well worth the cost.

Majestic Red Dragon is a Level 10 DARK Dragon-Type Synchro Monster with 4000 ATK and 3000 DEF that cannot be destroyed by card effects. If Majestic Red Dragon attacks, all Defense Position monsters are destroyed at the end of the Damage Step. Once per turn, you can negate the effect of 1 face-up monster that your opponent controls. Then, Majestic Red Dragon gains ATK equal to that monster's ATK. During the End Phase, Majestic Red Dragon goes back to your Deck, and you can Special Summon 1 Red Dragon Archfiend from your Graveyard. In order to Synchro Summon Majestic Red Dragon, you need Majestic Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend, and 1 Level 1 non tuner monster, so this effect works perfectly for when Majestic Red Dragon does return to the Extra Deck.

Red Nova Dragon is a Level 12 DARK Dragon-Type Synchro Monster that is the strongest Synchro Monsters in the game. Red Nova Dragon has 3500 ATK and 3000 DEF that gains 500 ATK for each tuner in your Graveyard and can't be destroyed by card effects. Red Nova Dragon requires Red Dragon Archfiend and 2 tuners for the Synchro Materials. Red Nova Dragon is the first and only Synchro Monster that requires 2 tuners instead of the usual 1 tuner. Red Nova Dragon will wreck through your opponent's side of the field with a mix of brutal force and immunity to any card that tries to destroy Red Nova Dragon. Mirror Force, Lightning Vortex, Man-Eater Bug, and more are just some of the many cards that Red Nova Dragon is immune against.

This one is extreme, but it is a good idea. You can Synchro Summon Red Dragon Archfiend to your side of the field and then use Swords of Revealing Light on your opponent. None of those monsters can attack for 3 turns, and then you can use Creature Swap to give your opponent Red Dragon Archfiend while you take one of their monsters. Red Dragon Archfiend's effect will activate and destroy all of your opponent's monsters since they can't attack because of Swords of Revealing Light. This is a good method to make your opponent dependent on 1 monster, but be aware of when Swords of Revealing Light wares off.
