Star Wars has been a beloved franchise for decades, with fans of all ages drawn to its epic storytelling, memorable characters, and iconic battles. In addition to movies, TV shows, and books, there are also a wide variety of Star Wars board games available for fans to enjoy. From strategic combat games to trivia challenges, there is something for every type of gamer in the Star Wars universe. One of the best games to reenact the iconic battles is the one I'll talk about more below, Epic Duels.
Star Wars Board Games and My Favorite Epic Duels
Who doesn't Love Star Wars? Board games revolved around Star Wars are usually more fun. Star Wars Epic Duels is one of the best and fun to play for all ages. It is actually quite easy to learn and teach which makes it easier to get started.
Epic Duels is one of my family's favorite Star Wars board games. Find some other board games that you know and love below that are Star Wars integrated. I do wish they updated epic duels a bit with all new models and even tweak the rules a bit or make the maps bigger for more players. When my family played with quite a few people we combined the two maps to make a larger play area.
Card backs and Characters in Epic Duels
Above are all the provided characters that you can play each with their own deck.
You can relive classic battles such as Luke Skywalker vs Darth Vader and Jango Fett vs Obi-wan Kenobi. Or create your dream match between Darth Maul vs Luke or Mace Windu vs Darth Vader. Any which way you want to make these characters fight. Maybe team up father and son, Anakin and Luke Skywalker against Count Dooku and Darth Sidious.
In the deck of cards each hero card has special abilities. For example Boba Fett has a thermal detonator which hits one character and all adjacent figures. Darth Vader has Choke and the rest have a special relative to the movies.

How the Start of a game could look like on one of the Four Game boards
The sides of the "Move" dice
The red all sides mean you can move all you characters on that turn that many spaces and the Green just one character. When playing a card that has 3 characters, you will want to roll the red sides more often than when playing a two figure card.
Here is just one of the great cards you'll find in Epic Duels
Normal cards have a attack and a defense on the card and special cards have special abilities that are unblockable. Like Darth Vaders Choke which does 6 damage to any minor character. Although some have special requirements before you can use them like your character having to be adjacent to the enemy.
Another great Vader card is "All Too Easy" which has the description of: If this card is not blocked, the attacked character receives 20 damage instead of 3. Which can outright destroy the opponent a lot of the times.
