SWTOR Defeat the Hutt Cartel Enforcer

In SWTOR, defeating the hutt cartel enforcer is a necessity in the jedi consular or the jedi shadow class quest. The recommended level for this mission is level 23. This will guide the jedi shadow in defeating the hutt cartel enforcer at level 20 using a combination of jedi consular and jedi shadow abilities, and jedi shadow skill tree abilities.

The jedi consular or jedi shadow main class missions on Nar Shaddaa involve trying to find Duras Fain, the latest jedi master who has fallen foul of the plague that has been afflicting the jedi masters. The search for Duras Fain leads the jedi shadow to Tharan Cedrax, who must fend off a Hutt Cartel Enforcer, verbally at first. When he fails, the jedi shadow enters the picture and has an opportunity to defeat the Hutt Cartel Enforcer.

The Hutt Cartel Enforcer is a gold elite class character. The jedi shadow will take him down together with her first companion Qzyen Fess. Before entering battle with the Hutt Cartel Enforcer, the jedi shadow should use a fortitude stim. Now activate combat technique and force potency and then stealth mode. Go close to the hutt cartel enforcer and activate force stun on him. When he is stunned, go behind him and use jedi shadow strike on him. This is the equivalent of the jedi backstab, abeit with a double bladed lightsaber. Now use the following abilities and skills -

• Use saber strike on the hutt cartel enforcer. Intersperse this with double strike.
• Project is very useful against the hutt cartel enforcer. With the leveling up and distribution of points in the jedi shadow skill tree skill upheaval, this will increase the chance that Project will launch two projectiles at the Hutt Cartel Enforcer, causing additional damage.
• Activate Force in Balance (within the jedi shadow skill tree) – this will deal damage to the hutt cartel enforcer, and also heal the jedi shadow.
• Continue using jedi consular or shadow abilities against the hutt cartel enforcer – this includes force breach, mind crush and telekinetic wave.
• Be watchful of the health of the jedi shadow; when this falls below half, use the strongest medpak to heal up.
• Remember to activate Channel the Force when both the jedi shadow's and the companion's health are low.
• The combat technique will also periodically heal the jedi shadow, whilst force potency will increase the chances of critical damage against the hutt cartel enforcer.
• With the combat technique, the hutt cartel enforcer will periodically attack the jedi shadow face on, and then attack Qzyen Fess at other times. Use this opportunity to launch more shadow strikes (backstab) against the hutt cartel enforcer when he is attacking Qzyen Fess.
• It is useful to put some points into the jedi shadow skill tree to reduce the cooldown of force stun so that this may be activated a second time.

By arranging these abilities in a comfortable fashion on the number slots of a keyboard or MMO mouse and executing them in a rhythmic fashion, the hutt cartel enforcer will be defeated.

After the hutt cartel enforcer is defeated, Tharan Cedrax will join the jedi shadow as his second and healing companion. Now follow the instructions on the screen and the map to find Duras Fain. Duras Fain is actually surprisingly easy to defeat compared to the Hutt Cartel Enforcer. Just use the techniques and tactics above. Beat Duras Fain and return to the jedi shadow's spaceship for the distress call mission.
