Earth Worm Jim is a strange game (but don’t let that put you off) that involves a worm in a robotic suit whose mission is to go and save the princess, who has been kidnapped by an evil queen. I have to admit that I am a fan of first person shooting games and, fortunately, there are some top SNES games in this genre. One of the best first person shooter games for the SNES is T2: The Arcade Game.

This version of the top SNES games loosely follows the awesome Terminator 2 movie, and you (the gamer) must travel back in time to save John Connor from the T1000 machine. In order for you to save John Connor you are given a machine gun, with an infinite amount of ammo, which you must use to destroy the machines.

T2: The arcade game is, in my opinion, one of the top SNES games of all time. The graphics are great, the sound effects are great and it fully uses the super scope (or any other compatible light gun) which adds to the gaming experience. T2: The arcade game isn't an easy game to play and is very fast n furious, so there is a lot of replay value in it.

If you want the best first person shooter for the SNES I highly recommend T2: The arcade game, a game that deserves to be in the list of the top SNES games of all time.
