YuGiOh! Japanese Duel Terminal 6 - Dragunity of the Hurricane

Welcome to our information page on the 6th Japanese YuGiOh! Duel Terminal Machine - Dragunity of the Hurricane. On this page, you'll find everything you need to know about the cards available from Dragunity of the Hurricane including a background, a full spoiler list, featured cards, videos and much more besides. Don't forget to vote for your favourite Dragunity card in our poll, and give us your thoughts on Dragunity of the Hurricane on our guestbook below.

Dragunity of the Hurricane was the follow up to Champion of Chaos and was released into the arcades of Japan in early July 2009. As usual, there were 50 cards available via the Card Only Get mode - 20 classic cards re-released and 30 exclusive cards. (As ever, the exclusive cards are not legal for tournament play, until such time as they are released in a mainstream pack.)

The Dragunity of the Hurricane Duel Terminal cards introduced the Dragunity archetype to the game, as well as providing further support for other recent archetypes such as Jurrac, Worm, Fabled, Naturia and Ally of Justice. Dragunity of the Hurricane was followed up by Charge of the Genex.

Our first glimpse at a Dragunity Knight:

1 Dragon-Type Tuner + 1 or more Winged Beast-Type non-Tuner monsters.

When this card battles, you can activate this card's effect only once during the Damage Step by removing from play 1 Winged Beast-Type monster from your Graveyard. This card gains ATK equal to the ATK of the removed monster until the End Phase.

Dragunity in Video

For our video segment this time out, we'l take a look at the Dragunity archetype:

Featured Card 1 - Ally of Justice Decisive Armor

Ally of Justice gained this anti-Light chap in Dragunity of the Hurricane:

1 Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner monsters.

If your opponent controls a face-up LIGHT monster, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects once per turn:

Destroy 1 Set card your opponent controls.

Send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls.

Send all cards from your hand to the Graveyard to look at your opponent's hand and send all LIGHT monsters in it to the Graveyard. Then, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the combined ATK of all monsters sent this way.

@finalfantasyxvi: Afraid not - wish we did. To the best of my knowledge they're only available in the US and Japan.
