3 Natural Alternative Treatments For Men With Erectile Dysfunction

Updated on September 13, 2009

Stress. One word, but this single word contributes so many problems with our health that experts are only starting to tap into the various ways this word effects us in our daily lives.

With all the talk in the news today about health care reform, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to address one important issue with men without even visiting a doctor? That issue would be ED (erectile dysfunction). Tension caused by stress never really let’s us relax in today’s society; we need to be able to let our body relax and rest for good health. Tension prevents this from happening as it limits blood flow to the areas of the body that need blood flow to give men a healthy hard erection. Limited blood flow also affects many other areas of the body, but we are here to discuss one particular aspect.

Sure, you could go see your doctor, and if you’re in good health, you can get a prescription to buy the famous little blue pill Viagra, and away you go. But there are other drugs free methods that can have very similar effects that are easier on the wallet, less time consuming, and very good for you. And these methods will obviously have other benefits as well as they are all natural.

Watermelon
Other than being delicious, watermelon is chalked for of citrulline which is known to relax and dilate blood vessels which is pretty much what Viagra and other ED drugs do. So instead of heading to the doctor, wander over to your local grocery store and grab a watermelon. Try to eat a quarter of it to get the maxim benefit for a few days and watch the natural way start to take effect. You can also drop the red part of the melon (preferably cold) without the seeds into a blender for a delicious and refreshing drink!

Pomegranate
This fruit also has other attributes other than being delicious. Pomegranates are loaded with anti oxidants, so while it’s helping clean your blood of toxic waste, it also raises other elements in your blood which relaxes your blood vessel walls increasing blood flow in your body and more importantly to your penis. Haven’t been walking up with the morning “woody” lately, see what these two wonderful fruits can do for you and help you that morning erection back, which is an excellent sign for healthy blood flow. So gentlemen, time to either go shopping, or add these items to the grocery list. Maybe they are already in the house for the family, so dig in and enjoy!

KegelExercises
Not a big fruit eater? Well there is something else, the Kegel exercise. This was originally designed for pregnant women to help with the birthing process, well guess what? In also helps with the erection process, who would have thought? Do a simple search for “Kegel exercises for Erectile Dysfunction” and you will find allot of great resources about them. It was probably discovered while men were doing this exercise with their partners in a support class. Strengthening the muscles in any part of your body increases blood flow to those muscles, so focusing on the muscles in your groin area is going to increase blood flow to your penis. Hey, isn’t that what Viagra and other ED meds do?

There you have it. Need to get some of that lost vitality back? Well here are some solutions to help, all easy to obtain or do. And if you’re happy in your love life you’ll be happy in the other aspects of your life too, decreasing your overall stress, and improving your overall health. As a result, life in general starts that upward spiral to happiness in all aspects of your life.

Wait, was someone talking about health care?
