5 Steps to Creating A Healthy Mind Body & Soul - That Shines Inside & Out
Leadership, Healthy Knowledge Equals Power!!
In our society today, we lack a lot of the essentials that are needed to be healthy inside and out. We sometimes forget, we are only human; and the things we eat, drink and people that surround us..can literally destroy our lives before our very eyes!
Here are 5 steps to having you shining bright like a diamond in no time!
- Always keep your integrity, morals, values and ethics in tact. Meaning, don't allow material things and bad influences to sway you from doing right even when nobody is looking. Integrity is one of the 3 core values I learned in the Air Force, and I have followed that principle ever since. I have even included a few extra positives ever since, that I will write about later.
- Eat healthy and exercise. I know this is easier said than done, but in order to live a long healthy life; this is a must. Drink plenty of water is absolutely the first start to your healthy regimen. 8 glasses a day is the recommended intake, however, if you can intake more; the healthier your mind & body will feel. Always make sure you are getting the proper intake from the food pyramid. For more on the food pyramid click HERE. Keep your skin with natural non-toxic products, that do not cause allergic reactions to include dry skin. Click non-toxic skincare for more on this topic.

Steps Three and Four
3. Believe in something or you will fall for anything. Personally, I believe in God as I am a Christian. However, I understand everyone does not share the same faith. Just believe in a higher power outside of yourself..and not a lower one!!
Last, But Not Least- Community Connections
5. Connect with your community! Get involved in an activity that makes you happy! We live in a generation of technology. Social media and binge watching Netflix can distract us from valuable connections that free our mind of destruction. Share your happiness with others and try not to isolate yourself when the road gets rough! Community involvement includes, church, classes at the YMCA, your local library and even just a brief walk in the park. Don't ashamed or afraid to be you. Do not worry about opinion of others, everyone has one..yours is the only meaningful one. Keep your mind and body free of toxic people, places food and drinks. Most of all love your neighbor as you would want to be loved!
