A Few Stress Relievers
Why Controlling Stress is Important.
According to The American Institute of Stress can cause 'depression, anxiety, heart attacks, stroke, hypertension, immune system disturbances that increase susceptibility to infections, a host of viral linked disorders ranging from the common cold and herpes to AIDS and certain cancers, as well as autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis.' With many symptoms it's clear way some people don't want it.
The Clear Don'ts
Things like biting your nails, picking at your face, fighting and other harmful or destructive forms of stress 'relief' can get out of hand and cause more stress then they release.
1. Participating Sports
Participating in any sports and enjoying that sports is one of the best thing someone could do to relieve stress. One does not need to physically play the sport, as a parent going to your kids games for encouragement or watching a game on Tv with someone can still have benefits. Watching a game could still boost your adrenaline and watching a loved play or with a loved one can help with forming emotional bonds.
2. Spend Time With Family and Friends
Being around friends and family creates a sense of familiarity, a great stress reliever. It can also creates a great distraction from what every is stressing you. Hugs, kisses and other gestures of affection release more relaxing hormones.
3. Momentary Distractions
Things like lighting candles, listening to music, ASMR, and moderated drinking are all momentary stress relievers. Personally for me listening to music or asmr make me feel best. I have a little electronic bubble wrap key chain that sounds amazingly realistic and I take everywhere,
