The Life in Me

I feel dizzy,

I feel weak,

Sometimes i can’t sleep,

Sometimes i can’t eat,

I feel my bosoms tighten,

I feel my uterus pinching inside,

Now i know,

You are in me,

My dear little child,

A new life in my womb.

From this moment,

I will carry you,

Whereever i go,

Whatever i do.

I will take care of you,

Day and night,

When i am awake,

When i am asleep.

Day by day,

You will grow,

More weeks to go,

More months to go,

You are always with me,

A new life in me.

Feeling happy,

Happier as you grow day by day,

You kick me right and left,

You move so quick,

Sometimes at night,

I can't sleep.

I could feel you,

I could hear your heart beats,

I could see you in the monitor.

I am crying with joy,

I am smiling with joy,

I could see you sucking your thumb.

I keep a picture of you,

Every day is exciting,

As i see you and feel you grow.

Sorry when you hear my loud voice,

Calling your father,

To help me out of bed.

You just have grown,

Carrying you in my womb,

My bosoms are bigger,

My stomach expanding and stretching,

Like a big balloon.

I walk slowly,

I cannot run,

I cannot bend,

Climbing a stair is a misery.

i feel the water suddenly exploding,

The light blood runs out of me,

I feel pain,

I feel the contraction,

I am weak,

I am exhausted,

I fall asleep.

I am awake,

Cables on my chest,

Infusions in my viens.

I am ready for the rest.

Time has come for you to see the world,

Time has come to feel you in our arms

Your father's eyes filled with tears of joy,

As you come out from my womb.

You are crying so loud,

Feeling you in his arms,

You calm down and suck your thumb,

I cry with joy,

I feel the painful sore in my womb,

As i see you, i was cured,

A great wonder,

My beautiful baby in my arms.

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH...

There is nothing more beautiful than bringing a new life into the world. All of the discomfort and pain are forgotten the moment you set eyes on that tiny being.

      A lovely poem

What a precious poem commemorating a precious miracle and moment!

By the way, my father's forebears came to this North American continent in the 1600s from Bern! :-)

Yes ahorseback, new born babies are so cute, wonderful, so innocent, an angel, so delicate, so dependent to live and survive. Thank you for commenting.

Thank you Nellieanna. It is really a miracle, how a human being is created and how a woman's body manage to carry an embryo to fetus, a baby and deliver this wonderful creature to the world.

      Beautiful work!

John 16:21 is true, isn't it? "When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world (ESV)."

Thank you RTalloni. I am not expert of the Bible but i am a great believer of God and 100% Roman Catholic. Yes it is true. My baby made me strong that i even forgot that i had a big sore in my womb. I was not thinking of the pain, i was concentrating on my baby, breastfeeding etc. God heard my prayers having a daughter and a son. Thank you God.
