Dawning of the Age of Living Wholeness

Updated on June 19, 2013

The Aquarium

Modern technology makes it possible for humans to remove sea creatures from their natural habitat and put them into a container, a storage tank for entertainment and education.

Streams of people walk frantically past the exhibits, talking about the beauty of life as though it were a concept, a product to consume. As a result of worshiping the over-flooded senses, the elasticity for growing into understanding has shortened.

Once in a while, small children bump their little noses against the glass walls with an urge to be in the water, unaware that there is an artificially made border.

Have we become like the fish in the tank, tamed and trained? It seems most of us have given in to the unconscious belief that life is like an aquarium, a container with walls that separate and restrict one from another.

How many humans live as though life is static and has to be lived in a storage container like the creature behind the glass?

On occasion, with the right light in the back, the observer sees his or her own reflection on the walls of the aquarium. What a great choice then presents itself. That moment speaks silently and subtly, yet provoking, “Am I truly limited by walls of separation?”

The sea life in the box is only a fraction of all life in the mighty ocean. What is presented by the reflecting human face?

Just pause for a moment, turn childlike and fluid again like the little ones that merge with the experience of the aquarium, still untouched by a limiting view.

Have you ever questioned what life can be beyond the concept of the numbed and frantic running we have bought into, beyond 'striving to remain competitive and survive'?

Any longing to answer this question with heart is a key that opens the door to a new dimension of life. Being willing to merge with one's mighty nature brings forth a transformational conversation. It is a timely and potent conversation, as the world shifts for some, from the Information Age to the Transformation Age of natural human wholeness.

When all of the different aspects of a human being are seen, and heart life becomes known, then will we experience the process of emerging into self-sustainability.

All reactive behaviors triggered by the former idea of separation are transformed by the innate intelligence in nature. Those who turn from looking at nature as though outside it, to being one with it, will pioneer a collaborative, cooperative, co-creative way within themselves and with one another. Each of us can create a path that is paying forward.

As Dory the fish says, “Keep on Swimming.” And I say,

The world is changing, it is so,

on deeper levels than we know.

And as it changes there will be

a choice for peace and harmony.

What source the shift? It is within,

a journey made inside the skin.

This change is one that changes real

when change inside I truly feel,

and others called to run the course

let go the past, midwife the force

that rolls in waves across the land -

it starts with me, my heart and hand.
