Attitude-It Means Everything

Updated on May 29, 2014

Attidude, it means everything. It's a noun that names something, "you." Be careful how you show it because it is for all to see. Attitude is strong, it draws and it also pushes away.

The high point is, attitude is a decision, it can open doors to your success or close them forever. It is a magnet, what you thinks is what you attract. When your attitude prohibit you from the reels of success, it's time to take a long look at your inner being and see what you see. No, this is not double talk but serious talk.

Winston Churchhill once said, "attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference." So that being said, a positive attitude won't guarantee success but a bad one will guarantee defeat. Choose your attitude, it is what life hands you and only you can choose the reaction.

William James on attitude once said, "whenever you're in conflict with someone, there is one factor that makes the difference between damaging your relationship and deepening it.The factor is attitude.

Change A Bad Attitude

The key to learning a good attitude is the willingness to change a bad one. It is not hard to have a positive attitude, practice because practice makes perfect. Fill yourself with positiveness, take a look around you and evaluate the people you hang out with. Be encouraging to others, have a willingness to help and do not allow anything or anyone to attach negativism towards you. It's not hard to hold on to a smile or a word of encouragement to make someone have a better day. Kick negative thoughts out the window and down the road to some place else.

See it coming at you before it gets to you, then banish it into nothing land. Fill yourself with gentle, kind thoughts. It won't take much discipline to achieve this because it doesn't take as much muscle to smile as oppose to a frown. It's a simple exchange of bad for good. Attitude is not something written in stone, it can be changed to the greater good. Attitude is everything!

How Does Changing Your Attitude Affect You

A positive attitude has power and benefits to boot. With a positive attitude, everyday problems can be coped with bringing constructive changes in your life. Adopting this way of life helps you to maintain a less stressful life. A positive attitude provides motivation, causing you to look at failure as a blessing in disguise. You will look for solutions, see opportunities and believe in yourself. It is now time to change the way you think, time to push negative thoughts out of the way and that is how changing your attitude will help you.

You are quite right about having a good attitude. Your tips are very helpful. The thing you said about evaluating "the people you hang out with" is really important. Evaluate and then be a role model around them or get out of their sphere so they don't bring you down. I absolutely enjoyed reading your article. It is very uplifting and motivating.
