About Eric Dierker

Eric is a miracle, a miracle of Love! If I had to use one phrase to describe him, I would surely say that he is "a man of God", you have just to read some of his hubs, and you will understand. I am quite sure that in some other lives Eric had been a student of Socrates or Plato and Apostle Paul! I wouldn't be surprised if I learned that he was Moses! He is a human form around an enormous luminous Heart which is constantly glowing humour, kindness and Love in a world desperately needed these virtues. Every time I read one of his writings I become wiser and happier!

Eric, I have never met you in person, but you are a true brother of mine! I Love you, I pray for you, I thank you for being Eric the Great!

This is not a tribute; this is a big big hug...

Freeze Frame

Calm down, you do not have to hurry. This moment is one of the countless moments you will experience in eternity. You are made of the same materials that the eternal Universe was made of. You will always live somewhere. So, what's the reason for you to hurry? Enjoy the gifts of this moment. Breath in, breath out.

Calm down, you do not have to worry. You are a child of God and God is Love. In His Love, everything, difficult or easy, is meaningful. How significant will be your current problem after some time? But it will still be a lesson that made you wiser, that lifted you a little higher. Learn from the difficulty, do not worry about it. Breath in, breath out.

Source

Calm down, you do not have to condemn. You can judge the actions, but not the people. You have not lived their lives, you do not know what has happened to them, what fears they haunt them. You do not know the pain they have experienced, the temptations they had to fight, the misunderstandings they have faced, the demons they had to deal with. You also are not perfect, and you do not know how you would react if you had been in their position. Do not judge, no matter how easy it may be, do love, no matter how hard it may seem. Breath in, breath out.

Calm down, you do not need to bear a grudge. Fight for your rights, but do not seek revenge. If someone has offended you there is a Greater Law that will take care of your recovery, as long as you continue to be righteous. Raise your consciousness over the wrong and free yourself and the offender from this situation. There is no higher Power of Change, no more excellent medicine, than forgiveness, because it is the beginning of Love. Forgive and live free. Breath in, breath out.

Source

Calm down, you do not have to complain. It may seem that you have fewer than others and be jealous of it, but believe me, this is your perception. Some others are jealous of what you have. So deal with your stuff. Thank God for what you already have, be grateful for all these, and take care of your spiritual improvement so that to enjoy everything you want. The Source is inexhaustible, the limitation lies in our ability to absorb from Him. Gratitude is a source of happiness, grievances, nagging, and misery, are causes of unhappiness. Breath in, breath out.

Calm down, you do not have to claim things that are not yours. If something does not belong to you rightly, if it is not part of your consciousness, you will never be able to keep it, even if it is given to you, much more if you take it fraudulently. Whatever you take in this way it will hurt you, no matter how it seems initially, because it postpones your growth. If you want to change the world around you then first change the world inside you. We gain spiritually what we need, and then we earn it on the material level. The reverse is ephemeral, and against the laws of the Universe, hence it will bring us problems. Become a better person, and better things will come into your life. Breath in, breath out.

Source

Calm down, you do not have to compete with others. In whichever position you are now, it's the right one for you at this specific moment. It is your position, and no one can steal it from you anyway, such as you cannot take the place that belongs by right to someone else. If you do not like the one you are in now, do not claim the position of someone else but strive to improve yourself in order to get what your Soul wishes. Raising your consciousness with acts of Love, kindness, offering, and understanding will elevate your position, and no one will be able to deprive you of it since it will be the one that the Universe would have prepared exclusively for you. See others around you as partners in this endeavour, as comrades rather than competitors. There is no competition in the Universe, because, it offers wisely to every one according to his needs. Breath in, breath out.

The moment you learn to create your own happiness no one can deprive you of it.

Okay Eric, I will work on that for you. I write a lot of dark stuff, but that's how I work through the pain I'm dealing with... but writing about light and love is great too❤. I will work on a story about my kiddos for you

Sheila my superior told me to leave my coat on today so that another and I could fly. I think that is you. Now if you would be so kind return the favor about a story of your children. Little critters. They are up to so much that our old critters can learn from -- and you have the art to relate that to me.

How much better does it get?

I put feelings to forms. They laugh at me but you also have that gift. And they way over pay me!

Sheia duck for cover. Around here we shoot straight and happy. I battle with depression every day so I grab on to something. Just now it was my son doing fighting with imaginary creatures. There is a time for and a season for every purpose.

Depression is not passing or light, but when we crawl out of it we carry the weight for others. Yahoo. To everyone having a struggle with depression let us hold hands.

Strange that people do not get that anxiety goes with depression. I say that is the hardest. Love.

Thank you very much Ioannis. Writing helps to get some of the darkness out of me... I have really been struggling with agonizing depression and anxiety. I am in a place where all I can seem to see is dark.. I am frantically searching for my happiness and I'm at a dead end.

Wonderful to hear from you Manatita. I kind of reserve "disciple" for Christ and student for others. But just semantics. Sri Chinmoy was a student of so much and so worthy to follow on a great exciting journey with others.

Just count me in on any literary love fest.

If you are a Disciple of Sri Chinmoy, Eric - not that you have to be - but just answering your question. Then you joy can only increase!! We believe in Self-transcendence - going beyond, beyond, into the ever-transcending beyond. There is no limit or end to the Joy-experience … the Love-bug-rhapsody … ha ha.

Greetings my brother Sean. A bit absent these days. So sorry.

      Eric,

Here it is. Every disciple knows it and it is our most sacred prayer. We say it with folded hands.

      The Invocation

      Supreme, Supreme, Supreme, Supreme!

I bow to Thee, I bow.

        My life Thy golden plough;

My journey's Goal Thy soulful Dream.

      Supreme, Supreme, Supreme, Supreme!

I bow to Thee, I bow.

Supreme, I am Thy glowing Grace.

        My world, Thy Feet of Light;

        My breath, Thy Vision's kite.

Thou art one Truth, one Life, one Face.

      Supreme, Supreme, Supreme, Supreme!

I bow to Thee, I bow.

      — Sri Chinmoy

      27 August 1967

It is also a song we sing every morning at our shrines and at every Centre meetings (Worship)

Sean, you've said what so many people need to hear. Just calm down and let it be. Don't try to build yourself up by tearing someone else down. Gratitude is the key. Express gratitude for what you have and more will come your way. We have an expression in the U.S. "them that have gets." It is usually said in a derogatory way as jealousy over the rich getting richer. But when used in a spiritual way, it is a universal truth when expressed "those who have and are grateful are sent more."

Sunflower, Hibiscus, Rose and a trio of Dandelions from the boy.

Crazy here to say that? No!

All of your loves are the most precious flowers. A bouquet of all our lives full on with butterflies to suckle on our nectar and then give it to the next flower as a nutrient of life.

So we shot up north Oceanside Camp Pendleton way. Every other dad in the place was a clear Marine. My pard and I flip a coin for who would pay for 12 beers to go around. I won. which means I bought. They were with wives and kids. Chuckee Cheese which I do not recommend. I wore shooting ear plugs. Real Marines know how to hug. I tried to go up and give away some love and got a ten time return.
