We are all aware that we will grow old and eventually leave this planet one day, but until then we have a choice of feeling and looking good or bad as we age. Aging is not a disease it is a natural process.

The human body is design for rejuvenation at any age. Age and lifespan is determined by how we choose to live our lives.

We know certainly that exercise and a healthy diet along plays a key role in vitality, youth and the aging process.

Life expectancy has rising. People are living into their 80s, 90s and above, therefore our concept of old has change. We expect to live longer and feel well.

Scientist has concluded is that the secret to youth lies within each of us in our cell structure and genes. They found that we should be living much longer than we do.

Researchers from the University California stated that our maximum human life span should be anywhere from 120 and 150 years. For our top researchers they mention that they know enough information already to help us outlive our statistical life expectancy. Wouldn’t you want to live that long if you where healthy and feeling well? Absolutely!

If you want great health we need to be committed for life to obtain it. Health is wealth and nothing matters without it. I understand not everybody going to be on the same page, but what I do know that if you want to live longer and feel better, you have to prevent what’s going to make you sick and kill you.

How can we play a roll in our aging process?

The main things we need to consider at this point are making sure you schedule yearly check-up for wellness. Maintaining a proper diet is vital, stress deduction and preventing the diseases that are likely to kill us before our time. A bad diet alone can harm the body and speed up the aging process. Don’t stress about what damage you have done in the pass, just make a commitment to eat right now.

As we age our body doesn’t require a lot of food. During our growth period of childhood, adolescence and early adulthood we required more food for development.

A diet low in fat and high in fiber, stress reduction, exercise, weight control and healthy personal relationships can rejuvenate the immune and endocrine systems which help fight off things that make us old before our time.

The diet should be made up with a variety of foods made up of fruits, vegetables, grains and proteins. A diet high in fiber and nutrient-rich foods promotes health and longevity.

If possible try to avoid as much process foods as you can because it can make you sick and speed up the aging process.

Antioxidants play a role in the aging process. It blocks that destruction, shields our cells from poisonous agents and toxins including radiation, carcinogens and stress. Antioxidants can be found in vitamin A (in the form of beta carotene), C and E.

Getting your daily water intake is important. The body must stay hydrated for it to function well.

There has been studies showing that staying lean is best for longevity.

Exercise at least 3 to 5 days a week at least for 15-20 minutes. Gradually increase the time as you become healthier. Exercise is the best stress reducer.

Scientist’s today know a great deal about the aging process and how to slow it down and eventually they will unlock this secret within each of us. But until then there is a lot we can do and choices we can make to contribute to our aging process.
