Ii had realized this for a while but continued to ignore the truth, the reality was that I allowed smoking to control me instead of me controlling me. Then one day I just stopped cold because I finally realize I am in charge, smoking made me look older that I am, it had caused receding gum, yellowing of my teeth, cigarette made my clothes smell nasty, I observed other smokers who make smoking really looked unattractive having a cigarette hanging from the mouth.
I encourage anyone who wishes to stop, ask yourself what is the cost and true benefits of smoking. The benefits are poor health, an enormous yearly expense, and smell like smoke. I have found ways to channel my mind such as writing to you all, find support from friends and family to help you through this period, maybe start a yoga and meditation program, read a book, jogging, the practice of healthier eating habits, there are endless avenues to choose from finding things that interest you.
