What exactly does anxiety mean?

The general definition of anxiety is described as feeling of worry, nervousness, fear, stress or discomfort. Everyone on earth has already experienced one of these signs and feelings, even small babies. Basically, these emotions are normal in people at an uncertain, unknown, or anticipated event.

Our mind and body are trained to feel and protect us from dangers. When we feel worried and anxious, our brain would tell us that a threat is waiting for us.
