I hate going to the gym. I try never to set foot in one, to be honest. It's against my religion, especially that whole "repetitive motion" thing. Losing weight has to be fun, or it isn't worth bothering, if you ask me!
That being said, I have to say that the only ways I have ever been able to get my body in better shape are doing things that are so much fun that I don't really feel like I am working out. I absolutely love riding waverunners, and I am crazy about long bike rides. But the fact is that most days, my time to do this type of thing is limited. I am scrambling to get everything done to take care of everything I have to do.
So that leaves dancing. It's a blast, and the kids can even join in! I am including some videos that get your blood pumping! I would suggest at least dancing for 15 minutes per day. You can wake up a few minutes early if you need to, and you may want to do some stretches before you get carried away.....especially with kicking. The last thing you want is a torn deep rotator, believe me. It takes months to get over that.
