The battle for the best electric toothbrushes is in full swing and the competition is stiff. Here's a breakdown of the major electric toothbrush companies, makes and models and their most popular toothbrush options (complete with feature lists, pictures, accessories and reviews).
The Latest Sonicare Electric Toothbrush
Sonicare (which is made by Philips) recently came out with their latest and greatest electric toothbrush yet. It's called the Philips rechargeable sonic toothbrush R 900 Series and boy does it pack a punch.
Naturally this electric toothbrush comes with all the bells and whistles. It boasts an improved toothbrush design to better cover your teeth and gums, three flexible brushing modes, two personalized cleaning routines, a "go care" and a "max care" setting.
The "go care" setting is a brief, one minute brushing cycle that allows you to quickly clean your brush. The "max care" setting is three minutes of an extended care routine.

Popular Sonicare Electric Toothbrush
One of the more popular and affordable electric toothbrushes made by Philips Sonicare is the Philips Sonicare Essence e5500 Power Toothbrush. It's a great rechargeable electric toothbrush that will serve you well without breaking the bank.
Although not packed with all the bells and whistles of the Sonicare R900 series, this toothbrush will not disappoint. It has lots of travel features such as a two week charge holding time and comes with a travel case. It also has a built in two minute timer for the perfect teeth brushing.

Oh yeah, and this is the toothbrush that I use daily and for travel. It's a great all around rechargeable toothbrush that has been faithful for over two years.
The Latest Waterpik Electric Toothbrush
Although Waterpik is primarily known for it's water jets, they also have a sizeable rechargeable toothbrush array to choose from. One of their most popular models is the Water Pik Sensonic Professional SR-1000W.
The Waterpik Professional electric toothbrush is a good, well rounded toothbrush with some unique features. It sets itself apart from much of the competition because it comes with three different brushes (Advanced brush, small brush and interdental brush). It also comes with a two year warranty (as most other brushes do).

The Latest Braun / Oral B Electric Toothbrush

The Oral B Pulsonic is one of the latest electric toothbrushes out. It's slim, unique design is like none other on the market today.
The first thing that stands out about this brush is it's slim and trendy design. It's also got a great starter price!

Popular Braun / Oral B Electric Toothbrush
One of the most popular Oral B electric toothbrushes is the Oral B Triumph 9950. It doesn't break the bank, but it's on the upper end in terms of features and quality. Oh and it's also the latest in the Triumph series.
The Triumph 9950 automatically comes with the Smart Guide Wireless Remote Display (as seen in the picture). This smart guide gives you up-to-date feedback, "to promote optimal brushing habits." Oral B also claims to guarantee "better checkups" or your money back.
