Have you ever needed to drop weight quickly but were afraid to lose it too fast? Well I will tell you it's no walk in the park that's for sure! However, if you can follow some strict rules, get your system on track, and get your but moving, anything is possible!

Problem: You are holding on to excess fat and bloat and you have no idea how to get rid of it. Although you may have to make some drastic changes, you can do this!

Now I am going to be really up front here..This is not all that easy, and if you are taking specific types of medications or have a medical condition that includes your heart, lungs, or kidneys, my advice is to find an alternative method of losing weight. This is not for the faint of heart, nor is it for someone who is not pretty close to perfect health.

I can tell you I am not going to advocate that you starve yourself, however we need to get your calories low, and you activity levels high in order for this to work correctly. So let us begin.

Do you know why you are not losing weight? One of the reasons may be candida, so immediately the first thing I would do is purchase a high quality candida cleanse. I like Renew Life or Garden of Life products because they are natural, however, you may have another brand in mind.

Step 1: Immediately stop eating all sugar (which includes most fruits) refined carbs, starchy carbs, beans, dairy, excess sodium, soda, juice, any type of fake sugar and caffeine. This should not be done regularly, just for the next 3-4 days.

Step 2: Get 8-10 hours of sleep each night for the next 3 -4 days

Step 3: Purchase a high quality candida cleanse and probiotic formula, take as directed. Make sure you are home if possible most of the time as cleanses can leave you feeling you need to hit the restroom a lot.

Step 4: Make a 1 gallon concoction of water with 1 cup of lemon juice, 2 shot glasses of apple cider vinegar (organic with mother), ½ tsp. cayenne pepper, and ¼ tsp of sea salt. Drink the entire gallon if you can each day. Plan on getting 3-4 gallons of purified water or distilled water to do this. This is essential for cleansing. Usually people add maple syrup to this type of cleanse, but for this quick cleanse, I recommend doing with out it.

Step 5: With the one gallon of water or additional water you will need to also take in 2 cups each per day of green tea and parsley tea. Green tea helps with metabolism, parsley helps with elimination of excess bloating and water.

Step 6: Take a bath each night with 2 cups of epsom salts and 1 box of baking soda for detoxification.

Sample 3 day detox program

Grocery list: parsley tea, organic apple cider vinegar, fresh organic lemons (6-8), epsom salt, sea salt, 4 boxes of baking soda, organic spinach and or kale, 1 pineapple, cayenne pepper, organic coconut oil, any type of onions, mushrooms, any organic berries, 1 dozen organic eggs (or vegan egg replacements), 4 organic chicken breasts or organic tofu if you are vegetarian.

For the next 3-4 days, in addition to your one gallon of water mixture, green tea, and parsley tea you will consume the following and ONLY the following:

Meal 1: Smoothie with 3-4 cups of water, 1 cup spinach or kale, 1 cup fresh pineapple, 1 cup fresh or frozen berries, blend and drink! 2 Scrambled eggs with pepper and a pinch of sea salt prepared in a tsp of coconut oil

Meal 2: same as meal 1 minus the eggs

Meal 3: 1 chicken breast or 6 oz of tofu sauteed in coconut oil (1 Tsp), you can use pepper, parsley, oregano, and a pinch of sea salt to prepare. You may also sautee' 1 cup of spinach/kale, 1/2 cup onion, and a few chopped up mushrooms in 1 tsp of coconut oil to have with your tofu or chicken.

I have followed this program with great success and have lost up to 10 lbs. in 3-4 days. I also recommend doing some vigorous exercise such as bootcamp, spinning, crossfit, kickboxing, insanity, or other high intensity routine 45-60 minutes each day to really get the sweat going and the fat burning. If you must do something lower in impact, try to jog, walk up bleachers, stairs,or on the treadmill, or use an elliptical for 45-60 minutes each day. Just please use common sense and make sure you are eating what is recommended and not skipping meals or starving yourself. This is extreme and not for everyone as I previously stated. However, if you have an event or vacation etc. that you would like to look fabulous for, this is your way to get there quickly. It is also a good way to start a cleanse. If you start with 3-4 days of this protocol, you may ax those nasty cravings and be able to start a healthy eating program with better results. The worst part of starting a healthy eating program is the beginning. The cravings and hunger can really get to you. So if you can start by cold turkey eliminating all the sugar and junk, you may find it easier to eat healthy without going to such extremes. Your body will be cleansed of sugar and the candida that breeds on that sugar. Once you can kick the sugar habit, the weight will start dropping off like crazy. Good luck and be safe! :)
