Fat Free Sugar Free Brownies
Some of the ingredients might seem a bit weird in this recipe but it tastes surprisingly good. We need more fruit in our diet so this makes this recipe even more healthy.
1 ½ cups flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon cream of tartar
½ teaspoon baking soda
2 jars (2 ½ ounces each) prune baby food puree
¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
1 cup and 3 tablespoons honey
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla
Preheat oven to 325° F. In large bowl combine all ingredients just until blended.
Spread mixture in a rectangle glass baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack for 15 minutes.
I love the new glass baking dishes that have plastic lids. You can serve and store your brownies right in the dish.
