Kristen was a confessed heron user and believes that is when she may have been infected. When she was tested before her employment began at three different places they were positive at one. While working at Rose Medical Center in Denver, Colorado she tested positive for hepatitis C before she started. Kristen stated that they did not make that clear to her. She did work at Rose Medical Center from  October 2008 to April 2009 .  There are currently 10 patients that has tested positive for Hepatitis C at this Center.  Close to five Thousand other patients have been alerted and urged  to come get free Hepatitis C testing.

This is really a shame. When you sign up to be a nurse, you are suppose to care about the life of others. Apparently, this lady cares for no one.

You always take a chance when you are hospitalized of coming out with a bigger problem that you came in with. This is a fine example of that. I really feel for the victims in this incident.

      Great hub!

I always find news like this provokes mixed feelings...sadness for the victim of the drug itself and for her subsequent victims, and resentment about the injustice to those people hurt by such unawareness and lack of caring.
