Foggy, Groggy, And Achy... Is It Arthritis?
As soon as the alarm went off and I reached to quiet its annoying sound I felt pain surge from my shoulder right down to my elbow. I did not have to open the curtain to realize the weather was a dreary foggy morning for the ache in my shoulder upon going to bed lastnight indicated some sort of cool, wet and dreary day to follow. It was indeed confirmed by the sharp pull and and painful tug in my arm upon wakefulness. Two weeks ago my family doctor sent me to have x-rays taken and it was then determined that I in fact have arthritis. Presently, I am on an anti-inflammatory medication and I am still waiting for the physio referral to flourish into action to commence some sort of successful treatment plan. In the meantime, I continue to suffer with a little relief here and there from the use of a lotion prescribed called "PENNSAID." It is not a cure, but rather a numbing and brief pain reliever to the affected area.
There are many sites and ads by google .com providing a magnitude of information on arthritis that I have yet to explore. In the meantime, I hope other sufferers out there are finding relief from this painful dreary day. Pennsaid is the only thing helping me get through the day. I will add more help info as I discover it.
