The munchies are great but we all can get carried away which can affect our bodies in a negative way.

If you want to be a healthy eater you must become educated and intelligent about what eating healthy actually is. Being food smart is not just about trying to figure out grams or fat, or about studying food labels and counting all your calories.

Eating Healthy can be hard when you have the munchies but it is all about controlled and moderate food consumption habits, including eating healthy meals at least 3 times per day. You can still eat many different kinds of foods without limiting your selection to a few specific types of food or food groups. Healthy eaters eat many different types of foods, not limiting themselves to one specific food type or group.

You can have a lot of leeway when eating healthy.

Sometimes you can eat too much and other times not enough and you can eat foods that aren't always the most nutritious. But, you have to remember to always refuel your body and
your brain with enough food to keep your mind and body sharp and strong. A healthy eater is a good problem solver. Healthy eaters have learned to take care of themselves plus their eating with sound judgement and making wise decisions. Healthy eaters are always aware
of what they eat, and know the effect that it will have on their bodies.

A lot of times when someone cannot get their eating under control, there is a good chance they can't get other aspects of their life under control also.

Don't ever forget that restricting food that you love is most always a bad thing. Eating healthy should be a way of life, giving you the foundation and something that you focus on doing to enhance your body or your style of life. I know you have thought about positioning yourself to live better and eating healthy is a great place to begin. Do yourself a huge favor, make your life easier for yourself first, those who surround you and of course your family.

You are so right about that. That's where all of the emotional eating comes in.

      Good hub.
