Green chilli and weight loss

Spicing up meals with Green chilli can be a good idea without the need to feel guilty over the indulgence. This vegetable not only adds taste to the blend food, it has the potential to increase our metabolism significantly. Increase in metabolism is associated with fat burning. When the fat burns, weight loss comes naturally. It helps to reduce our appetite too. The advantages are numerous.

Nutrition value of chilli is high as it contains adequate amount of nutrients. Green chilli is a superb healthy food with high concentration of Vitamin C. It also contains important minerals like potassium, iron and copper. It adds up to your vitamin and mineral requirements of the day without giving you excess calories. Calories in chilli are negligible.

However, caution is required during eating as excess of chill can cause inflammation and stomach ulcers. It is best to eat a very small amount which is comfortable to your body type. If you already have stomach cancer or ulcer, it is best to avoid chillies completely. It is best to wash your hands after touching it as chilli hands in eyes can cause burning sensation.

Some eaters while eating chilli, tend to break a sweat. This is just a sign that the metabolism is speeding up and fat is burning. If chillies are eaten in summer, it is good as the sweat helps to cool down the body temperature. However, precaution is required to take small amounts and not to overindulge.

Small amounts of green chilli is a natural weight loss food. When combined with other healthy weight loss foods and exercise regime, it can quickly help you to reach your desired weight. Patience and portion control is important. So, enjoy green chillies.

I will be eating green chilli peppers for sure. I did not know they could help speed up your metabolism. I would be one of those people who sweats when eating this food. I sweat more already. Maybe that's a sign I have a steady metabolism. Voted up interesting and useful!
