40 DAY DIET - NO HUNGER, NO EXERCISE
I'm posting "before" and "after" pictures because this was truly a wonderful weight loss experience for me and want to share it with anyone interested in losing a good bit of weight (for me,25 pounds) in a short period of time without hunger or exercise.
As we age, it's harder for us to exercise more when we have joint problems, back problems,etc. So this diet answered my needs, made me feel good, I'm back in clothes I haven't worn for 3 years at least. I did exercise gently while on the diet, at my neighborhood gym where they have a senior balance class. In the class we sit to do most of the exercises but they do work every part of the ole bod and you end the session feeling refreshed and energetic.
The HCG diet drops obtained online for $39 is the same product used in medical weight loss clinics. You take them 3 times a day, before meals, by putting 10 drops under your tongue (for fast assimilation), wait one minute without talking (sometimes the hardest part for me!) and in 15 minutes have your meal.
There is a booklet included which you download after you buy the drops. It answers questions you may have. There is also a recipe book, which I didn't use much since I've made a habit of creating recipes because of various allergies.
Simply put: this diet changed my life.
I no longer eat large portions. I no longer crave sugar. I couldn't believe how much money I saved not buying candy, cake and cookies. I learned to cook with broth instead of butter.
After 40 days, I'd lost 22 pounds. I have continued the lifestyle with the addition of dairy foods and eggs,which were not on the diet. I did miss my milk products, yogurt, etc. but truly, it was worth it.
