The natural way to regrow your hair

Hair loss natural treatment is affordable and can be found inside your kitchen-ingredient cabinet or at your garden. If you have these natural herbs, spices and vegetables, like ginger, phanax ginseng, aloe vera, lye or lemon grass, moringa olifera or malunggay, then, your are ready for a lifetime hair makeover or recovery using the natural way. Your 'crowning glory' will soon restore its splendor.

Travel Man’s Anti-Hair Loss Natural Concoction

You can make the same concoction of the above-mentioned ingredients by simple mortar-and-pestle procedure. Crush and pound every herb, spice and vegetable to get the juice. Just remember that phanax ginseng acts as hair stimulant; ginger is anti-inflammatory and aids in good blood circulation in the scalp; aloe vera is a famous hair restorer; lye or lemon grass is also anti-inflammatory and rejuvenates hair follicles and malunggay leaves are rich in amino acid and vitamins A & E plus protein. The natural extracts can be blended with essential oil like the virgin coconut oil to prevent protein loss. Apply it to your hair scalp and see the result in the succeeding days. Natural biotin extract or vitamin B8 is also necessary to maintain the natural dark color of your hair or to avoid early white hairs.

Causes of Hair Loss

The three main causes of hair loss are 1)heredity, 2)hormonal imbalance and 3)stress-related. My friends will often remark that I had a receding hairline. “It’s in the genes,” I will always reply. Hormonal imbalance or the testosterone in male populace blocks the hair growth. So, most of the bald-headed persons are male. Patches of hair loss can be caused by lupus or systemic disease or the so-called alopecia ariata. Too much thinking or many stress-related work can cause hair loss.

Those affected are usually mature men and women. Children who suffer hair loss can be blamed to too much studying. Normal hair loss when taking a bath should not exceed from 50-100 hair strands. If you are a diabetic person, it can affect the hair growth cycle. It is attributed to weak circulatory system, weak immune system and hair scalp infection.

When you frequent your local beauty shop for hair treatments that use a lot of synthetic hair products as in hair dye, hair strengthener or hair-relaxing agent, hair color, et cetera, there will be more problems that you'll encounter. Hair salon products should jive with the type of hair a customer possesses. Hair stylists, nowadays are careful and do their own hair analysis to avoid complaints from their customer-friends.

Travel Man experienced his own hair loss period when he tried the hair strengthening offer at her aunt’s beauty parlor. He suffered scalp itching and even wounded some parts of his head. The mixture of hair strengthening product was not compatible with his scalp. Now, he’s on the verge of reviving his receding hairline. His officer also suffered from hair loss that paved the way to use a hair-restoring agent called minoxidil. He cannot fought the after effects that he fainted inside his cabin’s toilet and injured the back of his head. Reasons can be one of the following: a) that he’s suffering from heart ailment; b) he had kidney trouble; c) he had a liver ailment; or d)scalp problems. Minoxidil can be used by adults or in their 40 years and above from two months to two years to notice the effects, or hair growth.

The Wonder of Kidney Beans

Early signs of hair loss can be prevented if you nourish your ‘crown’ with kidney beans. Yes, all beans, especially this one is rich in vitamin A & E, selenium and magnesium that are essential for hair growth. It is important to nourish the hair bulb and hair follicle, not only the strands. So, don’t be misled by the notion that beans will just contribute to high uric acid in your kidneys if you will frequently eat these legumes.

Travel Man’s Hair Spa

By studying and learning the concoction of natural herbs, spice and vegetable essentials to the fullest, I can now have my own ‘hair spa’. I will not worry about buying shampoo, because this natural mixture will be my shampoo and hair conditioner, as well.

@abhi: A male hairdresser who happens to be from our city in Bicol commented positively with what I'm doing here. Natural treatment for hair loss is really the basic to grow back thinning hair. Whereas hair spa mixes in the beauty salon has synthetic ingredients that can give advserse effects from person to person.

Honestly, I also resorted to having hair spa, twice but it didn't helped in way paving to more hair loss.

@eli: Our hair can continue to grow even if we are dead already (since it will depend on the nutrients being transferred from our scalps.

I believe that there is always hope, without even resorting into hair transplant.

Change of lifestyle (avoid vices) and clean living can contribute to hair growth again.

Diseases can also contribute to hair loss and ageing, but we can slow it down by returning into basics, like using what I recommended here.

I hope it will work for you, too.

@aeroh192: Thanks for patronizing this herbal shampoo mix. Ever since I published this hub, I gradually refrain from using commercial shampoos, since my skin becomes itchy and flaky. I resorted into using the basic medicinal/herbal/spices available in our backyard. It helped in a way that my hair loss lessen and its whitening, too (pag-uuban).

      Ah okay thanks sir.

if i am going to make 100ml definitely hindi ko siya mauubos in 5 days. Therefore ill make it like 1/4ml of it and together with the rest of the mixtures. Tama ba sir?

Sir keep us posted about your consultation with the shampoo maker. Thanks.

@aeroh192: Not exactly expired but the freshness of the concoction will not be attained anymore. That's why the local organic shampoo maker which I consulted said that it should still undergo a fermentation process for assurance that mixture will have a longer effectivity, even it's only stored at room temperature.

In the meantime, you still can use your mixture and renew it for the next five days. Just make a small batches as I indicated here.

I hope you'll not be confused anymore.

Thanks again for clarifying your queries.

But still bit magulo dun sa part na sabi niyo "refrigerate for 5 days"?

@aeroh192: Thank you for posting your remarks here. I consulted a local herbal shampoo producer (she's still waiting for a BFAD approval before her concoction-similar to mine -will be available commercially) regarding my mixture. She said that I should attend a seminar being hosted by the local branch of DOST (Dept. of Science and Technology) since I made my mixture like this:

      -1 tbsp crushed ginger

      -1 tbsp crushed lemon grass

      -1 tbsp malunngay leaves extract

      -1 tbsp aloe vera gel

and put all of these to a

      -100 ml of VCO.

Filter the mixture and you can refrigerate it for five days (chiller temp @ 5 degrees centigrade) or better freeze it to prolong its shelf life.

Note: I will be featuring my interview with the local herbal shampoo manufacturer in the future.

I hope I answered your query regarding my hub.

Kailangang magpa-araw ka. Folic acid ang kulang saiyo. Ganun din ang sabi sa akin, pero it will depend on what you eat.

@joey: I don't think so. It's normal to have hair loss every day, but not too much. You can research about that if you want. VCO is not a culprit to hair loss. It is also used as spa agent for your 'crowning glory.'

@paul0hubog: I recommend an organic shampoo suited for male hair. I hope you understand that I cannot name it here (for commercial purposes).

Sure, you can refrigerate it but it will only last for 3 days. You have to make a new batch, since it is freshly mixed.

I think, it's not necessary to add vitamin E since malunggay (moringa) leaves are already rich in the said vitamin.

@eugene: Never omit aloe vera and VCO. The two are always available.

If you couldn't wait for it, better apply your simple concoction and see the result for a week. Good luck!!!

@Randy: I haven't use shampoo for a week in order to see positive result on my hair.

If you are going to use one, dilute first the shampoo before applying it on your hair.

@nene: I may repeat this ratio if you haven't read my hub from top to bottom. Here it goes:

      -1 tbsp crushed ginger

      -1 tbsp crushed lemon grass

      -1 tbsp malunngay leaves extract

      -1 tbsp aloe vera gel

and put all of these to a

      -100 ml of VCO.

Yes, you can apply vitamin E gel first for further efficiency of the mixture.

      Good luck!

@bald: A 100 ml VCO or half of it is my recommendation. A dilution of water will affect its potency, for sure.

I included water on my first rough mixture of this natural hair solution, but my sister advised me to stick to the VCO.

Little by little I noticed the difference between my before and after hairline. Little hairs are growing back slowly.

3 to 5 drops will do or it depends on the affected area.

      Happy holidays, to you, too.

PS. You can ask a local horticulturist or flower growers or vendors regarding aloe vera.

It's part of the mixture to make it more beneficial. Good luck!

thank you for your reply..may i ask again regarding for the mixture?

      its ok,

      i'll will mixed;

      -1 tbsp crushed ginger

      -1 tbsp crushed lemon grass

      -1 tbsp malunngay leaves extract

-w/out aloe vera gel(its hard to find)

      question are:

how many ml. of VCO or water may i use to mix with the extracts i mentioned.

how many days will expire, if w/out putting in the refrigerator?

how many drops may i use to be in my affected area?

thank you again..godbless and advance Merry Christmas as well.

@bald: It's okay and you can use it three times a week.

If I were you, I will stick to the procedure for a better result.

There's no harm in trying as all the ingredients are natural.

      Good luck!

@Jalia: Olive oil is more of culinary use, although also used as ingredient in soap making.

It is also used for shaving hair for smooth result. I don't have facts about using it as hair grower.

Let's settle for the VCO. Good luck to you.

@Ummitre Patience is a virtue. To make your hair grow back faster, moderate your lifestyle. Talk with your inner self as in taking a rest as much as you can, as in sleeping 8 hours per night. You can also watch your diet. Talk to your doctor. Age factor also matters.

@Anna: Yes you can add but in little quantity only. VCO is a good treatment for treated hair.
