Help Stop Smoking-Time To Quit

So your focus is help stop smoking. For this you will eventually need to understand the risks. Smoking is the largest preventable cause for sickness and death in the United States and Canada. Almost half a million people a year die from smoking related causes in the United States alone. At least as a smoker you up your chances in the death lottery because you are 33% more likely to die from something smoke related then non smokers.

If you quit right now your body would start healing immediately and in only a couple years your body would be almost as healthy as a life long non smoker. All parts, including your heart and lungs will be very grateful if you give them a second chance. When it comes to quitting smoking don't be scared to use the help of any resources or tools that are available.

Over the last few years non smokers have very aggressively become the majority in society. In civilized society things have changed greatly when it comes to smoking. The fact that almost every where you cant smoke in public places should make things easier to help stop smoking when the time comes. For example bars, restaurants, parks and airports have all become places that do not allow smoking. This says a lot for associations such as the American Heart Association.

Help Stop Smoking-Why Quit

You have to look in the mirror and ask yourself why you want to quit. Also something that is really important is making a decision you are sure of. Of course there will be days when you want to throw everything away and start smoking. Don't let these feelings beat you.

That's why your reasons for quitting have to be strong and powerful. they have to be reasons you truly believe in.

With the price of smokes this day saving money is a huge factor is your decision. Saving time that would otherwise be used for smoke breaks could be much better utilized in other important things. Of course your health should be a greater reason than anything when it comes to help stop smoking. Finally setting examples for your children so they can have the healthy life they so deserve.

Find the time to make a list of all the reasons you want to quit and make sure you write them down. Also list all the ways you are going to battle against the urges. Where will you put your cigarettes so that it is inconvenient to get them. Make sure you keep the list with your cigarettes so that when you go to have a smoke you get the list and are able to read it.

Help Stop Smoking-What Are You Putting In Your Body

Once you see what you are putting in your body you will be silly if you didn't want to get help stop smoking.  We all hear and know about nicotine but actually that is one of the safest drugs when it comes to whats being inhaled into your lungs and affecting so much more than just your lungs.

Every time you take a drag of your smoke you are inhaling over 4000 chemicals into your body.  many of these chemicals are found in such other things as varnish and insect poison, not to mention rat poison.

One drag at a time, one day at a time you are doing more and more harm to your body with all the poisons you are inhaling.  Your heart and lungs for the most part take almost all the damage from smoking.

A couple more things as a smoker is things taste the way they should and the more you smoke the harder it becomes for your body to fight infections.

Help Stop Smoking-Reasons Close Up

You will almost immediately start feeling better when it come to your health.  More energy will help you focus.  You will be able to taste and smell your food better.  Think about your breathe and how much whiter your teeth will be.  Not to mention your coughing will go away and your breathing will get much easier.

The odds are in your favor that you will be healthier all your life.  You lower the risks of all kinds of diseases when you quit smoking.  Heart attacks, strokes, cancer and so much more are reduced when you bite the bullet and get help stop smoking.

While you are doing wonders for yourself just think of how proud the people that care about you will be.

Now a days you need to plan your smoke breaks, you are the minority and plain and simply smoking is really becoming a pain.  People look at you funny, they smug you and make you feel like you have warts all over your face.  Those are all great reasons to quit but the only reason that should mean anything should be for you.

So quit procrastinating and get help stop smoking and you will not regret it.

      Thumbs up! I quit 3 months ago, with Alan Carr's magic book (Easyway to Quit Smoking). I had tried everything else, but Carr's book really did the trick for me.

      I smoke too, and am finding hard even to switch successfully to e-cigarettes. It's a tough addiction, and every article like this helps to beat it. Thank you!
