How To Eat More Apples
The Goodness of Apples

Eating More Apples
Most of us love the taste of a fresh apple. And we know they are good for us and that we should eat more of them. Here is a way that I eat apples that you might find appealing. And you may just eat more of them.
Items

What you will need
I like to get fresh red apples, but any kind will do. Then I use a peeler, corer/slicer, knife, and cinnamon.
I am sure that you have a peeler. You can buy a corer/slicer in many places. The prices range from $3 to about $30, depending on what type you want. Some are stainless steel and well made, so it is really just a matter of preference, and how often you plan to use it. Mine was a gift, so I can’t tell you much about it, except it works well and I like it.
More about cinnamon
Oh cinnamon, I could go on about the health benefits for hours. And the taste and aroma make so many things better. But let us stick to the apple. I like to use organic cinnamon, that I purchase by the capsule online. I am sure that the regular kind will work just fine.
The peeling process

Removing the peel
After washing the apple I start to peel it. I usually peel a little off the top first.
Then I peel strips on the apple. This way I get the ease of eating a peeled apple, along with the benefit that the peel provides us. I have found it to be a very nice alternative to peeling the entire apple and not eating any off the peel.

Trimming the slices
Many times you will have core remnants left over on your apple slices. I like to remove them with a knife.

Seasoning it up
Now sprinkle the cinnamon on the apple slices. Use as much or as little as you want. I find it is similar to eating a piece of apple pie. Sometimes I microwave the pieces for about 30 seconds, and it is even more like apple pie.
Happy eating!
If you cannot find any apple corers, here are some online links to a couple.
