Why Positivity?

If you think negative all the time, you fear, you stress, and you freak out. This can cause great strain on your body. Thinking positive stops your brain from thinking about these thoughts and causes your brain to think from a different perspective.

A person living positively not only has a better brain, but they can function better during the day, they get more sleep at night, and they are just a better person to be around.

Positivity through Self Evaluation

If you want to make your life more positive, you have to really think hard about your life. Ask yourself these questions, write them down, and really think hard about them. Be as detailed as possible and it will be easier to make changes to your life.

  • Are you happy?
  • If not, why aren't you happy?
  • What can you do to make yourself happier?
  • Is there any people in your life that always bring you down or make you unhappy?
  • Any things in your life that can be changed for the better?

What makes YOU happy?

Happiness is the key to making your life positive. If you aren't happy, most likely your life won't be as positive as it could. So, really think of the things that make you happy and do it! If you come home from work feeling worn down and negitive, do something you love to do.

If you aren't happy, it's time to figure out whether you actually need it in your life or not. Is it work that makes you unhappy? Maybe it's time to look at another career option. Start your own business and do that on the side until it takes off. If the way you live is making you unhappy, change your lifestyle.

Something big to remember is you control your life. You also only have one of it. If you don't want the negitivity, you have to have the drive to change it.

Get Rid of Bad Friends

This is something that even I have trouble with sometimes. If you don't want your life to be negative, get rid of the negativity. This includes people too, no matter how good of a friend they claim to be.

Do you have that one person in your life that is always negative, always posting nasty things on their Facebook, or always makes you sigh under your breath? That negativity is contagious! Get rid of it. You can't make the big change to positivity without weeding out the negativity.

I'm not saying if your friend complains once get rid of them. Everyone is entitled to complain every once in a while. If they nag and constantly put you down, they really aren't being a friend so you don't need them! Surround yourself with positive people and you'll find your outlook and life more positive.

Do you find it easy or hard to be positive?

Positive Frame of Mind

Thinking positively is another big factor of being positive. During the day, we constantly put ourselves down and put others down. We make big deals out of nothing. Stop. Right now. Throw it out into the garbage can forever.

  • Do what you think is best! Even if you're the only one. Goodbye guilty conscience.
  • Always look on the bright side of EVERY situation. There is ALWAYS a bright side.
  • Don't dwell on the guilt and sadness.
  • Don't be serious all the time, goof off!
  • When times get tough, count your blessings!
  • Care about others!
  • Smile!

Live Positively!

Enhancing your life for positivity can be challenging at first. But, with practice, you will be on the right track to living a happier and more positive lifestyle. Don't let negativity bring you down. Be happy and healthy!
