How to Relieve Constipation with Olive Oil

Updated on March 26, 2013

It's very simple...

This is how this works: You should take anywhere from a teaspoon to a tablespoon of olive oil everyday and it will help your bowls move and soften your stool. It is as simple as that and IT WORKS! Trust me. I am currently back on a routine and my visits to the bathroom are much more enjoyable. (Ha ha!)

Now, you don't have to take the olive oil straight. There is a great tip that someone taught me:

1. Pour yourself just enough orange juice for one swallow.

2. Drop the olive oil into the glass.

3. You will notice that it does not mix well and that it floats on the top. This is a good thing; they naturally do not mix.

4. Drink it in one swallow.

If you do this correctly, then you will hardly taste the oil at all. I would not take the olive oil with a full glass of orange more than about an inch or two in your glass.

Do this for a little while and watch the magic begin! On top of the bowl help, you will also notice a difference in your skin! Olive oil is great for dry skin and really does wonders for the body!

Did this remedy help relieve your constipation?

I knew that olive oil has many health benefits, but I didn't know it could work as a laxative as well. Very good and useful info. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, it really is great information and I decided to present it very simply. (Unlike my long detailed sketch of the Hallelujah Diet.) Anyhow, I love garlic. I think it smells great and tastes I could have it anytime. You know else is great to do with garlic? Juice it with your carrots! (SO DELICIOUS!)

So I am unfamiliar with the yeast infections, so let me do a little bit of research for you. Okay? My dad has this great (HUGE) book with information on natural remedies for just about everything, so I am sure it is in there.

Just give me a little time...and I'll try to get back.

Useful info as I believe you. I crush fresh garlic and It keeps me "regular." I do this each PM so that at work I don't smell. It is a great natural remedy that does miracles and wonders, do you agree? Hey any ideas on how to cure woman and yeast infections?
