How to enjoy Mondays
We all hate Mondays don't we? What's there to like when we have to wake up when the alarm goes off and drag our reluctant bodies to work? Mondays can be hard to get through for some of us. This article tells you why Mondays are not so bad after all!
How to enjoy your Mondays
1. Because Mondays are only 4 days away from Fridays and weekends. On Sundays, you are 5 days away.
Yes, do the math and you will know what I mean.
2. Because everyone is still experiencing Monday blues and hence it is acceptable to be less productive on a Monday.
Even your boss has Monday blues. You should understand now why Monday meetings tend to be draggy. Because not everyone is in the right state of mind to work productively and frankly, some just don't care.
3. If you think about it, there is no excuse to feel tired after all.
With the majority of us sleeping in on weekends, Mondays are the days when we tell ourselves we shouldn't really be feeling so tired. Our brains somehow tell our bodies that since we slept so many hours each on Saturday and Sundays(plus all the extra naps), the extra hours can be used to compensate for Mondays.
4. It is a good excuse to head for drinks after work.
How many times have you heard your friends or colleagues or even yourself talking about going for drinks after work because it is a Monday and you need the alcohol to tie you through rest of the week?
5. Because you woke up on a Monday.
Every single day when a close friend of mine wakes up, she says a silent prayer to thank god that she is alive and for this wonderful day she has been blessed with. Not everyone has the luxury to wake up. You get the idea.
Do you hate Mondays?
The above are some lovely points for us to remember in life so that we appreciate the beauty of Mondays. In fact, everyone should embrace Mondays! Please pass these notes to anyone you care about to remind them what a wonderful day Monday can be.
Peace and love, KC
