How to Receive From God

What are the blockages that are preventing you from reaching your destiny? Why are you not receiving what you are supposed to have gotten by now? I Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child I spoke as a child, understood as a child and thought like a child, but when I became a man I put away childish things.

The Three Key Words are:

• Speak
• Understood
• Thought

You test your system by how you speak, how you understand and how you think. You need to test your system if things are not going right. Are you speaking right, are you understanding right and are you thinking right?

Have you tested your system? People are loyal to dysfunction. Sometimes people are loyal to the system that is not working. They will say this is me, that’s just how I am. They do not understand that scripture states that as a man thinketh so is He. So, your thoughts are very important in determining what you are receiving. Also, your speech is very important in receiving what is yours. Understand plays a crucial part in getting what belongs to you.

What is basically stopping you from receiving what God has prepared for you is your speech, understanding and your thought. Most people want promotions without going through the process. You have to love yourself first, and you will be excellent in what you are doing and you will find greatness. You cannot afford to ask for more yet you have not mastered less. God is prepared to make you ruler over many as long as you are faithful over the few He has entrusted you.

Master where you are so that you get promoted to where you are going. Do not neglect where you are as if you do that you will be able to do great things where you are going.

How long are you going to hold on to the dysfunctional system that is not working for you? The way you speak, the way you understand and the way you thought is your system. When I was a child, I spoke, understood and thought like a child, but when I became a man I put away childish things. Could it be possible that you are in fact still a child in your thinking, speaking, and understanding, hence you are not moving forward, as childish behavior is hindering your progress?

Are you constantly overreacting, as those are the signs of being childish? Are you blaming yourself for things that are out of your control, are you being victimized by yourself? I spoke, I understood and I thought as a child… Then there is a but, when I became a man I put away childish things, not that I first put away childish things than I became a man. I became a man and outgrown the way I think, speak and thought. I outgrew the system and I was free it could not bind me, and I could be able to receive all that God has in store for me as my speech changed, my thinking changed and my understanding changed. I attained maturity and it was evident in my speech, thoughts, and understanding

I have put it away, meaning I know it still exists somewhere but maturity has taught me that I do not need it. If I don’t change the old speech, the old thinking and the old understand system I will lose many opportunities. If I don’t put it away it will put me away, it will hinder me, it will destroy me. It will put love, life, prosperity, and everything away. Put away childish responses in your speech. You cant put away what you cannot identify. You are able to identify it when it shows up, you know you should have not responded the way you responded. Refuse to victimize yourself and go forward to receive what God had in store for you before the foundations of the earth. Your destiny is before you, put away and stop holding on, defending things that are killing your destiny.

Change your speech, your thoughts, and your understanding and possess your destination.

Are you defending the system that is poisoning your water? How long have you stood still not progressing? It is your system of thinking, speaking, and understanding as a child. What are you saying, what are you thinking? What is coming out of your mouth that is poisoning your opportunities? The way you understand a thing determines your expected end. Check your thoughts, what are the fruits they are bearing?

Understanding is powerful, it is the truth you stand under. It is your version of what is wrong. It is your version of what needs to be fixed. What do you choose to focus on and see about your life? You cannot help people that you do not understand. You have to listen before you speak. When you go for counseling, all they do is help you to understand yourself. That shows how important understanding is.

Break the habit of always going back to the old habit/system. Galatians 4:1-2. As long as you are a child you are no different than a slave, lo you would be Lord of all but you cannot operate at your Lordship level because of the system. You are limited, and under governors, because of immaturity you are under people that you should be above, but until you grow up you cannot inherit what is rightfully yours. You are following people you should be leading. Put away childish things. Distance yourself, separate yourself, resist the temptation to react to the system and start enjoying what is rightfully yours.
